About
Nancy Pelosi on the Phone refers to a photo of American politician Nancy Pelosi walking while talking on the phone. Pelosi can be seen wearing a white dress as her aides trail behind her. The reaction image came to be used to represent popular understandings of the politician's role as a Democratic party leader who calls the shots behind the scenes. Jokes about Nancy Pelosi on the phone are also often used to joke about her stock trades, with the implication being that she uses insider knowledge to make trades. Most examples using the picture are typically formatted as caption memes.
