Napoli Juve Aperol refers to a series of ironic misheard-lyric memes referencing the song "Human" by Rag'n'bone Man from his 2017 album Urban Dance 19. The "Human" lyric "I'm only human after all" is typically paired with pixelated and ironic image macros and the text "Napoli Juve Aperol." The meme is similar to Wenomechainsama and other misheard-lyric memes that were popularized on TikTok in 2022.

Origin

On April 17th, 2022, around the time "Wenomechainsama" began going viral on TikTok, YouTuber tod9965 posted a video showing a pixelated image macro with the text "Napoli Juve Aperol" while the line "I'm only human after all" from Rag'n'bone Man's "Human" plays in the background, gaining over 37,000 views in two months (shown below).

On April 23rd, 2022, YouTuber Michy234 posted a video showing a compilation of ironic images while the lyric played on loop. The video gained over 66,000 views in six weeks and was the start of the meme becoming popularized on YouTube. On May 19th, YouTuber Shitpost Gratuiti then posted a similar video that gained over 344,000 views in less than one month (shown below, right).


Around the end of May 2022, the joke started becoming popularized on TikTok. On May 21st, user eleroses posted a video with the sound, gaining over 167,000 likes in two weeks (shown below, left). On May 22nd, user tutta_ironia_bro posted a compilation video of memes with the song, gaining over 66,000 likes in two weeks (shown below, right).
