Humorous backlash regarding Nux Taku's tendency to bring up Rule 34 porn unprompted predominantly surfaced on October 17th, 2023, when X^[3] user @bendyjw posted a then-recent clip of Nux Taku inferring that he might recognize the voice actress of Pomni from The Amazing Digital Circus, speculating that she'd voiced Rule 34 porn. @bendyjw satirically captioned the clip, "FUNNNNNNNY!!!!!!" gaining roughly 3.9 million views and 6,600 likes in one day (shown below).
