About
BigKneeLover is an artist on DeviantArt known for illustrations of anime and manga characters with engorged knees. The page has frequently been accused of being a troll account, parodying some of the more specific fetishes and interests on DeviantArt.
Online History
On May 8th, 2015, user BigKneeLover joined DeviantArt.[1] That day, they published an image of Miku Hatsune from Vocaloid with "her knees Squishy Swollen and Big." The post (shown below, left)) received more than 10,000 views in three years.
The following day, they published an image[2] entitled "The Biggest Knees," an image of a blonde-haired girl with enormous knees. The post (shown below, center) received more than 39,000 views in in three years and is their most popular post as of June 2018.
Criticism
On December 7th, 2015, YouTuber Super Menace examined the account in the video "Does anyone wanna see some Chunky Knees? (Deviantart WTF?!) #4" The post (shown below) received more than 90,000 views.
On February 25th, 2016, an image compilation of a series of comments from anonymous 4chan users reacting negatively to the account was added to FunnyJunk. [4] The post (shown below) received more than 915 upvotes and 32,000 views in two years.
On February 28th, 2016, a page for the user was created on Encyclopedia Dramatica. [3] The entry accuses BigKneeLover of being "more than likely a troll account.
