About
Byte House is a TikTok house, formed in March 2020, featuring six influencers located in London, England. The TikToker house members, @itzshauni, @ktfranklin, @montykeates, @sebbbyjon, @surfaceldn and @itslilyrose, were chosen to live together by influencer marketing agency Fanbytes. The house is known for being LGBTQ-friendly and posting pranks, challenges and short vlogs.
Online History
On February 29th, 2020, The Instagram account bytesquadhq created their first post captioned, "April 1st – April 30th. 📅This April we are giving 6 UK Influencers the opportunity to move into a content creation house. 🏠To further develop their brand and work together.Tag your favourite UK Influencers to see them in the house. Powered by @fanbytes" (shown below). The post gained over 4,500 likes in two months.
On March 24th, the @bytesquadhq TikTok account uploaded their first video which received over 49,300 likes in a month and introduced the residents (shown below).

On March 26th, They uploaded their first YouTube video introducing the members of the ByteSquad (shown below). The video garnered over 14,000 views in a month.
On April 2nd, @bytesquadhq uploaded a flip the switch video which received over 219,300 likes in 18 days (shown below, left). On April 13th, they uploaded a toosie slide video which accumulated over 219,300 likes in a week (shown below, right).

Two days later, they uploaded "THE BYTEHOUSE TOUR | Take a look around our content house!" to YouTube (shown below). The video garnered over 28,200 views and 2,400 likes in five days.
Reputation
On April 19th, @TaylorLorenz[2] tweeted a BBC[3] article captioned, "UK's first 'TikTok house' opens during pandemic" which was criticized in the comments (shown below). According to HITC,[4] "The Byte House have partnered with 'Rise Above', an initiative developed by Public Health England to promote positive mental health among young people during the lockdown."
As of April 20th, 2020, The Byte House has over 284,300 followers on TikTok,[7] 17,200 followers on Instagram[5] and 10,100 subscribers on YouTube.[6]
