Margot Robbie is an Australian actress and producer, who rose to fame by her performance in The Wolf of Wall Street, and is most widely known for her role of DC Comics supervillain Harley Quinn.

Career

Margot Robbie was born in Gold Coast, Australia. She made her on screen debut in the Australian daytime soap opera Neighbours (2008-2011). After moving to Los Angeles, she landed a major role in the TV series Pan Am (2011-12) which ran for one season. Her breakthrough came a year later when she was cast as the wife of the title character in The Wolf of Wall Street (2013).

She explained subprime loans while taking a bubble bath in The Big Short. She played Queen Elizabeth I in Mary, Queen of Scots (2016). She produced and performed I, Tonya, which garnered her her first Oscar nomination. She earned her second Oscar nomination for her supporting role in Bombshell, playing a character serving as an amalgam of women who accused Fox News management of sexual harassment.
