About
The Pink and Green Trend or Cosmo and Wanda Trend is a trend on TikTok where users film pink and green objects that happen to be sitting near each other over the Fairly Odd Parents theme song, implying the objects are Timmy's fairy godparents Cosmo and Wanda in disguise, as they tend to disguise themselves as everyday objects in the show. The trend was popularized on TikTok throughout April and May 2022.
Origin
The earliest known video following the trend was posted to TikTok[1] by @luu.creziaa on April 29th, 2022 (shown below). In the video, captioned, "they thought I wouldn't notice," the TikToker shows a recording of two side-by-side lawnchairs, one pink and one green like Cosmo and Wanda from The Fairly Odd Parents, who disguise themselves as everyday objects in the series yet retain their primary colors. The video, set to an original sound[2] consisting of the show's theme song, gained over 7.5 million views in just over a month.
