Pretending They Don't See Shi is a reaction GIF, GIF caption and viral video featuring social media influencer and comedian @RedTooFunny. The video shows a Black man dressed in a white shirt walking away from a car as someone throws something off a bridge. The text overlay on the video reads, "How ngas be pretending They don't see shi so they Don't get involved." The video came to be used as a reaction meme in late 2024 and early 2025, similar to the I Pretend I Do Not See It meme.

While the original post featuring comedian @RegTooFunny may have been deleted or reported, the earliest known upload of the video is a September 29th, 2025, post by Instagram[1] user @durags, who gathered over 1,000 likes in eight months.
Also on September 29th, X[2] user @percjordan posted the video with the caption, "mahomes when niggas came over to scrape rice off the field," gathering over 17,000 likes in eight months.
