About
Pussy From A Girl Who X refers to a phrasal template trend where internet users imagine what a designated character trait or hobby would imply about how good a woman is at having sex. The trend started on Twitter in the late 2000s but took off in abundance roughly a decade later on Instagram through the Hierarchy of Needs Pyramid Parodies trend.
Origin
Although traces of the phrasal template date back to Twitter in 2010[1] and 2011,[2] it wasn't widely popularized until late 2020 on Instagram, originally inspired by the Hierarchy of Needs Pyramid Parodies trend. On October 6th, 2020, Instagram[3] page esoteric_blowitoutyourassism uploaded the first known posting of a meme reading, "pussy from a girl who keeps a day planner," having it make up a majority of the pyramid in opposition to the other label, "a gun." The meme (shown below) earned over 270 likes in a year and a half. The meme purportedly came from 4chan since it was reposted to Reddit's /r/greentext.[4]
Spread
In November 2020 a new version of the meme shown above surfaced on Instagram, replacing the text with, "pussy from a girl who wears tennis skirts." The first-known person online to upload the image was Instagram[5] page @italypilled_ on November 15th, 2020, who earned over 60 likes in a year and a half (shown below, left). On November 18th, 2020, Instagram[6] page sloth_admin reposted a meme from now-deleted Instagram page mechabowsette, who re-edited the template to read, "pussy from a girl who shitposts" (shown below, right).
Going into early 2021, the phrasal template received increased usage on Twitter. For instance, the first user to properly use the snowclone was Twitter[7] user meowmeowmeuw on March 2nd, 2021, who tweeted, "pussy from a girl who hasnt watched evangelion," earning over 70 likes in one year (shown below).
On April 20th, 2021, Twitter[8] user pissboymcgee referenced the "tennis skirts" version of the snowclone in his own tweet, earning roughly 1,100 likes in 11 months (shown below, left). Also on April 20th, Twitter[9] user roun_sa_ville tweeted, "Need pussy from a girl who fakes being a juror in the trial of the century," earning roughly 1,600 likes in the same amount of time (shown below, right).
From April 2021 onward, the snowclone was used more and more on Twitter with each subsequent use gaining more engagement. For instance, maybe the earliest, viral usage occurred on July 25th, 2021, when Twitter[10] user imcummingonline tweeted, "Pussy from a girl who is extremely weird and off putting," amassing roughly 61,500 likes in eight months (shown below, left). On December 25th, 2021, Twitter[11] user schizobased harked back to the original Pyramid of Needs template, stating in it, "pussy from a girl who tells me im stupid." The meme (shown below, right) earned roughly 45,300 likes in three months.
