About

Riley Reid Pregnant or Riley Reid's Baby, also known as Riley Reid's Kid, refers to adult film star and Riley Reid's pregnancy in 2022 that resulted in the birth of her baby daughter alongside her husband Pavel Petkuns. After the internet first learned about her pregnancy when she was sitting courtside at a Lakers basketball game, reactions and memes ensued. When Reid gave birth in July 2022, more memes surfaced about her daughter Emma, many comparing her to Lana Rhoades' Baby, which similarly inspired memes.

History

On April 7th, 2022, Reid was a guest on THE SH*TSHOW TOO podcast hosted by Julia Rose and Becca. A clip from the podcast was uploaded to YouTube[1] on the same day where Reid publicly announced for the first time that she was pregnant with Pavel Petkuns' baby. The video received roughly 10,000 views in four months (shown below).

In the interview, Reid revealed how she and Petkuns were only boyfriend and girlfriend when they were discussing pregnancy. Reid insisted that they get married if she were going to have his baby. In late June 2021, the two were then wed. No Jumper CEO adam22 attended the wedding and uploaded a YouTube[2] video about it on June 23rd, 2022, earning roughly 558,400 views in one year (shown below).

Two days after her appearance on THE SH*TSHOW TOO podcast, Reid attended a Laker's NBA game with Petkuns where they sat courtside. During the game, Oklahoma City player Mason Jones had to jump over Reid when trying to save the ball from going out of bounds. Immediately after happening on air, Twitter[3] user BulletClubIta tweeted the clip, captioning it, "Mason Jones just bumped into Riley Reid during the Lakers game, lol," and received roughly 111,500 views and over 440 likes in four months (shown below).

On April 11th, 2022, Twitter[4] user chiweethegod quote retweeted BulletClubIta's tweet, captioning it, "This is how I found out rap artist Riley Reid was pregnant," in reference to Reid's subjectively cringy "8 Ball Shawty" rap video[5] where she uttered the N-word multiple times. The quote retweet received over 670 likes in four months and is one of the first known memes about Reid's pregnancy (shown below).

Reid's unlikely pregnancy reveal at the Lakers game inspired many reactions on Twitter[6] going into the remainder of April 2022, however, most received little engagement.
