About

Spijuniro Golubiro, also written Špijuniro Golubiro or Spiuniro Golubiro, refers to a series of brainrot-style AI videos and memes of a spy pigeon wearing a detective coat and a camera. The meme is narrated in Croatian using the Italian brairot text-to-speech voice, which features memes from early 2025 presenting viewers with fantastical AI-generated creatures, like Bombardiro Crocodilo (an anthropomorphic crocodile military bomber plane) and Tralalero Tralala (a shark wearing Nike shoes). Spijuniro first appeared on TikTok in mid-March 2025, spawning humorous edits and memes, especially among sport-related accounts, in which the character is spotted spying on the athletes.

Origin

On March 15th, 2025, TikTok[1] user @dontmakemeobvious posted an AI-generated image of a pigeon wearing a spy vest with several camera lenses, narrated in Croatian with the Italian brairot text-to-speech voice. The video (seen below) received 1.6 million plays and 113,000 likes in two weeks.

Spy Pigeon, the fucking pigeon that the government sends to spy on people. You think it still haven’t found you, it’s better to go and hide under your small, sweet, soft blanket.

Spread

A few weeks after the AI brainrot animal video was shared on TikTok, users started to add Spijuniro Golubiro and the soundbite in humorous videos acting like the character is spying on them.

For example, on March 29th, 2025, the official Paris Saint-Germain F.C. (PSG) TikTok[3] account posted a video of the soccer team celebrating a victory while a loud siren sound and a loop indicate Spijuniro Golubiro is spying on the footballers. The post (seen below) amassed more than 3.6 million plays and 319,000 likes in two days.

On March 27th, 2025, Ryanair's official TikTok[4] account posted a video of a plane flying and a loop spotting Spijuniro Golubiro in the back (seen below). The post received roughly 138,000 likes in four days.
