About

Diddy, also known as P. Diddy, Puff Daddy or Sean "Diddy" Combs, is an American rapper and entertainment mogul who came to fame in the 1990s and 2000s. Diddy is one of the world's most famous and most infamous rappers, concerning 2023 and 2024 accusations levied against him in lawsuits based on his alleged sex trafficking, abuse and racketeering. Combs was arrested in September 2024 following a federal investigation. During this timeframe, Diddy became a memetic joke among fans of rap, hip-hop and pop culture at large, spawning various memes like Nice Try Diddy, No Diddy, The Diddler and Diddy's Baby Oil, among many others. All of them aimed at the widely held perception that Diddy was a sexual deviant who allegedly "diddled" minors and engaged in homosexual relations often to gain power over other men in the rap and hip-hop industry. This 2024 perception contrasted previously held ideas about Diddy who was often idolized in mainstream media for his lavish Diddy Parties and masculine, wealthy persona.
