About

Super Mario 64 Soundfont Remixes refers to a trend where songs are remixed using the SoundFont from the video game Super Mario 64, making the songs sound like they're from the game. The trend became popularized on YouTube in 2019, becoming increasingly popular over the years.

The Super Mario 64 SoundFont is notably used not only in SM64 but also the Neon Genesis Evangelion game on the Nintendo 64.[2]

On November 19th, 2019, YouTuber[3] kanna lost her jaw. posted a remix of the American Football song "Never Meant" using the SoundFont, garnering over 867,000 views in three years (shown below).
