T-Pose Puppy / STOP FIGHTING!!!

T-Pose Puppy also known as STOP FIGHTING!! refers to a series of image macro and exploitable memes featuring a small pot-bellied and cross-eyed puppy doing the T-Pose. The image of the puppy being held up by one hand began making the rounds in May 2024, with captioned and edited versions of the image going viral on Twitter (now X) in July 2024. The meme is similar to Jotchua memes that feature meme edits of small puppies.

Origin

The earliest known post showing the T-Posing Puppy is a May 1st, 2024 post on Thai Instagram^[1] page @khamnakmak, where it gathered over 100,000 likes in two months (seen below).

Spread

On May 16th, X^[2] user @hopes_revenge posted the image with the caption, "✝️," gathering over 6,000 likes in a month (seen below, left). On May 20th, Instagram^[3] page @souls_world posted a Dark Souls edit of the meme, gathering over 6,000 likes in a month (seen below, right).

On July 3rd, 2024, X^[4] user @squid_bees posted the image of the T-Pose Puppy with the caption, "Chris Angel MINDFREAK!!!" gathering over 60,000 likes in two days (seen below, left). On July 4th, X^[5] user @foreknowledged posted of the puppy with the caption, "STOOOOOOOOP FIGHTIIIIIIIIIIING!!!!!!" gathering over 230,000 likes in a day (seen below, right).

STOP FIGHTING!!

In August 2024, various X^[6] users posted edits of the T-Pose puppy to make it look like he was stopping fights from breaking out. On August 5th, 2024, X user @doggorevo posted art showing the T-Pose puppy as a boxing referee, gathering over 320,000 likes in two weeks (seen below, top).

On August 12th, 2024, X^[7] user @PkmnBrainrot posted a Pokémon meme using the puppy, gathering over 130,000 likes in two days (seen below, bottom).
