On April 8th, 2023, Redditor^[1] u/GodNonon posted the earliest known iteration of the "The Big Bang vs. sperm cell on a used condom" meme to compare how unfair a fight would be between The Boys' villain Homelander and One Punch Man's protagonist Saitama. The user wrote "When Hydrogen Bomb vs Coughing Baby' doesn't even cut it," amassing more than 4,800 upvotes and 134 comments in a year. (seen below)
