These Hoes Tryna Distract Me refers to a redraw and word replacement memes associated with a photograph of a black man focusing on studying while a woman sitting at his side is flashing him with her bra on.
Origin
The earliest known appearance of this meme is a screenshot of a Twitter post dated February 20th, 2020, made by the now-suspended account @IamAFelon.[1] The photograph is completed by two captions: the first, covering the woman's head, says "These hoes tryna distract me"; the second, in the bottom left corner, says "Me tryna find a way to get The bag", an expression which means: "to become rich".
The earliest derivative version of this meme is a Facebook post from February 21st, 2020[1], with the bottom label replaced to fit a car engineering context.

This meme has seen widespread use across social media, both as a template for caption replacement and as a basis for redraw memes. For example, on April 19th, 2022, Twitter user hourglasp[2] posted a redraw based on Genshin Impact, gaining over 43,400 likes and 7,300 retweets in two and a half years.
On October 11th, 2024, a Friday Night Funkin' fan art posted by @PiscyFosheria on Twitter[3] gained over 50,000 likes and 3,300 retweets in two weeks.
