This Isn't Even a Bruh Moment at This Point, What the Actual Fuck Is Wrong With You is a catchphrase used in a series of reaction images of popular characters looking uncomfortable or concerned. Spawned by a viral Banjo-Kazooie image macro in 2019, the reaction format maintained virality through the early 2020s and was parodied within the Pizza Tower Ohio Rizz Gyatt trend in 2023.

Origin

Prior to November 8th, 2019, an unknown user posted an image of Banjo from Banjo-Kazooie uncomfortably looking away captioned "This isn't even a bruh moment at this point, what the actual fuck is wrong with you" (original post no longer available). On November 8th, 2019, iFunny^[1] user ChrisTheboulderRedfield made the earliest discovered repost of the image (shown below).

Spread

Starting in late 2019, the image has been used as a reaction on iFunny, Twitter and other platforms. For example, on December 17th, 2019, an unknown Redditor made a post in which they used the caption to react to disturbing YouTube content (shown below). The post received over 9,000 upvotes in the /r/memes^[2] subreddit in four years.

Starting in 2020, users on iFunny and Twitter posted remade versions of the reaction image, pairing the caption with images of various characters looking concerned or uncomfortable.

For example, on March 10th, 2020, artist @jolynesgf tweeted^[3] an image of Shin Tsukimi from Your Turn to Die captioned with the phrase, with the tweet gaining over 570 retweets and 1,100 likes in three years (shown below, left). On August 28th, 2020, iFunny^[4] user Ochaisan posted a Koopa version that received 19 smiles in the same period (shown below, right).

In 2023, the reaction image format was parodied within the Pizza Tower Ohio Rizz Gyatt meme format. For example, on March 4th, 2023, Twitter^[5] user posted an ironic Pizza Tower version that received over 20 retweets and 220 likes in four months (author unknown, shown below).
