Tokyo Toni Crying to Blac Chyna refers to a reaction video of Tokyo Toni crying while arguing with her daughter Blac Chyna. Blac Chyna watches with a black expression on her face. Online, many have used the clip to describe themselves when in an argument or discussion.

Origin

On July 28th, 2019, the American reality television series The Real Blac Chyna episode "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner" aired on the Zeus network (clip below). In the episode, Blac Chyna argues with her mother Tokyo Toni at a restaurant. Toni breaks down in tears as Chyna watches expressionless.



Spread

That day, Twitter user @seanbrazy tweeted the clip with a joke about how they react when a friend buys them food. The post received more than 1.5 million views, 5,700 likes and 1,900 retweets in about one week (shown below).

The following day, Twitter user @monicagescalant tweeted, "when he’s begging you for a second chance but you’re over it already." The post received more than 21,000 likes and 7,800 retweets in one week (shown below).

That day, Twitter user @Drebae_ tweeted another clip from the episode with the caption, "Me listening to my friends cry about niggas I warned them about & told to leave alone MULTIPLE times but they didn’t listen." The post received more than 1.6 million views, 84,000 likes and 29,000 retweets (shown below).

On August 2nd, the website PopBuzz[1] published a piece on the meme.
