Wabuu is a raccoon character from Dingo Pictures, a German animation studio known online for low-budget animated films that were widely mocked and remixed on the internet.

Wabuu appears in several Dingo Pictures films and is typically portrayed as an impetuous prankster character; fan documentation describes him as one of the most popular Dingo Pictures characters.

Wabuu is the title character of “Wabuu der freche Waschbär” (1996), and the character also appears in Dingo’s Pocahontas adaptation (where his design is described as a knockoff of Disney’s Meeko).

In online discussion, one running joke frames Wabuu as a “time traveler,” based on perceived anachronisms and modern elements across related Dingo films.

In the mid-2010s, Wabuu became a recurring gag character in online content centered on Dingo Pictures, including video reviews/parodies by Phelous, who repeatedly referenced Wabuu across Dingo-related episodes.

Fan documentation notes that Phelous’ portrayal exaggerates Wabuu into a violent comedic villain, often tied to the “so stupid” catchphrase.
