About
Where Is Poor is an exploitable meme depicting an obese man looking through a pair of binoculars and asking "Where is poor?" while his big gut is blocking his view of a derelict panhandler. The meme is often used in ironic internet circles like /r/okbuddyretard or /r/comedycemetery, with edited versions of the meme changing what the man is looking for or changing the appearance of both characters according to a pop culture reference. The meme's origin is likely Russian, with the earliest known instance of it being posted dating back to August 2012.
