It is unconfirmed when exactly the term "wienering" was first used as a euphemism for sex. The earliest known use of the term in the given context was posted by X^[1] user @ChloeRoss51 on January 31st, 2019, writing, "ever want hit someone up for a good wienering but like you don’t talk anymore so you fucking CANT🙃🙂," garnering around five likes in five years (shown below).

The term became increasingly popularized over the following years, with several more examples appearing online in 2019^[2] and the slang "good wienering" being added to Urban Dictionary^[5] in April 2020. On July 4th, 2021, 9GAG^[3] user ericzombie posted a meme using the term, garnering over 420 upvotes in three years (shown below).

The term became notably popularized on TikTok throughout 2024. Some of the most viral videos to use the term are memes in which a person shows themselves getting someone a reward or treat for giving them a "good wienering."

For example, on July 16th, 2024, TikToker^[4] @zunflowerrrrr posted a video of themselves backing cookies, captioned, "making him cookies from scratch cuz he's been giving me phenomenal wienering," garnering over 2.3 million views in a month (shown below).
