X: Y me. Z: Later originated from Valve's latest Meet the Team short, Meet the Medic. During the video, the Medic opens his refrigerator to reveal a decapitated Spy head being kept alive by an odd battery-powered contraption. The Spy asks the Medic to kill him, to which the Medic responds "Later".
