Yikes guy is a rather frightened looking face used in Rage Comics to show reaction to a surprise in general, good or bad.
Origin
The face was first found on Tumblr on April 6, 2011, with a usable face.
Spread
It has spread and reblogged on websites like ragecomicarchive.com and megustacomic.com. Although fairly new, It can be seen as a forced meme possibly because it was submitted by the same user with other Yikes comics as examples.
