You Wouldn't Like My Body, It's All Circuity and Metallic also known as What What in the Robot or Jenny XJ9 Adult Parody refers to an adult animated parody of My Life As A Teenage Robot by Newgrounds animator ZONE-sama. The quote "you wouldn't like my body it's all circuitry and metallic" is an altered quote from a 2004 episode of the who, replacing "brain" with "body." The adult animation was posted to Newgrounds in 2010 and became the subject of bait-and-switch memes in the following years. In 2022, the original quote was used as an intro line for Jenny's DLC character in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl and was removed for its link to the adult parody.
Origin
On February 11th, 2005, Season two episode three of My Life as a Teenage Robot aired.[1] In the episode, an alien called a Crater Critter says, "Since you ruined our favorite hotspot, it only seems fair that we get to eat your brain," followed by Jenny responding, "You wouldn't like my brain! It's all circuity and metallic!"
On October 17th, 2010, Newgrounds[2] animator ZONE-sama posted an adult parody of the scene where a Crater Critter rapes Jenny after she says, "You wouldn't like my body, it's all circuitry and metallic." The video, known as both "Jenny XJ9 Adult Parody" and "What What In The Robot," gained over 8 million views in 12 years.
Spread
On November 19th, 2019, ZONE-sama tweeted[4] saying that Viacom manually copyright claimed his video and rejected his dispute that it was original animation, wondering if this makes the cartoon canon (shown below).
In 2022, the adult parody became the subject of bait-and-switch memes on YouTube, where the scene cuts to something funny after Jenny says the line. For example, on February 13th, 2022, YouTuber TheTypicalBeast posted a meme where the video cuts to the Among Us Twerk video, gaining over 600,000 views in three months (shown below).
Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl Controversy
On May 13th, DLC was released for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl adding Hugh Neutron, Rocko and Jenny to the game. Shortly after the release, players noticed that one of Jenny's pre-fight dialogues is the quote, "You wouldn't like my brain! It's all circuity and metallic!" (shown below). The quote was reportedly removed from the game by developers due to its link with the adult parody.[3]
