Someone on the Loki writing staff has a sense of humor, clearly. Episode 5 of the show included an Easter Egg to one of the silliest Marvel memes from the comics: the Thanoscopter.

The camera panned over the infamous helicopter early on in the episode while exploring the Void, which critics suspect may be a hint that the Marvel Cinematic Universe has given themselves a way to bring Thanos back. According to Inverse, "this sets up an easy way for Marvel to bring Thanos back. The MCU can simply reveal that some variant of the supervillain managed to escape from the TVA and the Void."

Regardless, fans were delighted to see a reference to such a niche meme in the community.

Frog Thor, an amphibious version of Thor, also made a cameo in the Void, garnering similar reactions from fans.

While it's unclear how these Easter Eggs will play out in the rest of the show, it's clear someone at Disney+ is having a lot of fun with Loki, which seems appropriate for the mischievous God.
