A video showing a group of Utah teens wearing blackface Halloween costumes is going viral across social media after TikToker @TheBrownestSugar posted it earlier this week.

In the 20-second-long viral video, the TikToker criticizes the group of seven teens for their costumes. Three of the teen boys are wearing black-and-white striped prison outfits and blackface makeup, while another girl wears a police costume. Another boy is seen in the background wearing a cast and a cowboy hat.

She asks, "Do you guys understand the consequences of what you've just done?" and tells them they're committing a hate crime, then says they'll never get into college or get scholarships now. One teen without a costume responds, "We all dropped out of high school, it's okay."

Although the original upload has been deleted along with the TikToker, the video has been making the rounds through reuploads on the site and Twitter posts, one of which has over 1.7 million views and another that has over 3.4 million views in less than 24 hours.

According to the original upload's description, the video was taken at a Walmart in Cedar City, Utah. Since then, TikTokers have banded together to further criticize the teens, discuss the racism behind their costumes and overall call for their "cancelation."

One TikToker, @randymorgan777, posted a video zooming into all of their faces, saying, "These kids want to be famous? Let's make them famous."

Since going viral, Cedar Valley-related social media accounts have allegedly been harassed as users demand action be taken against the teens.

Deseret News published a statement from the Alpine School District yesterday regarding the incident, confirming that the students do not attend Cedar Valley High School and claiming that the Utah County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident, saying, "We are deeply concerned that some of our students have been targeted with hateful and slanderous comments and threats."
