Recently MatPat of Game Theory did a livestream where he played an indie RPG called Heartbound that's on Steam, and in the meta data for the video he included a bunch of Undertale related stuff that barely had to do with the video, and even GT fans felt he made way too many references to Undertale during the livestream itself just because of superficial similarities.

MatPat didn't provide a link to the game's Steam store page in an effort to help the developers behind it (Pirate Software), and said devs along with Toby Fox called out MatPat for both the lack of a link to the game and saying he went too far with "Undertale clickbait." It's probably worth noting MatPat did apologize to the devs, but it's still interesting to me that the creator of Undertale himself outright told MatPat "okay this is getting out of hand."
