Huh… Funny that now the kawaii fashion became the norm and now the main criticism is for upholding the unrealistic female beauty models.
The prime example would be the toxic and genuinely nefarious j-pop idol industry end to end, from producing to the consuming.
I guess it all comes back around to the saying of you die as the hero or live enough to see yourself turning into the villain.
