About
Minecraft Movie Quotes refers to a series of memes and brainrot edits that speed up and slow down one-off quotes from A Minecraft Movie, usually uttered by actor Jack Black as his character Steve. The trend started after the film's first trailer was released in late 2024, especially as viewers noticed that Jack Black said many things from the Minecraft game verbatim. Meme creators and internet users then started combining all of the verbatim quotes into compilation videos, including I Am Steve, Chicken Jockey, Zero Limits and Flint and Steel. Heading into 2025, TikTokers and other social media users started ranking the Minecraft Movie quotes, including others like "Release," "The Nether" and "Coming in hot!"

Minecraft Movie Audience Reactions
Minecraft Movie Audience Reactions refers to a series of videos capturing the theatre audience's reactions to the Minecraft movie quotes. The trend started during the film's premiere in early April 2025, usually showing crowds cheering, applauding or causing havoc as actor Jack Black's character Steve utters lines related to the game or previous memes that had gone viral on social media. The most common reactions happen during the I Am Steve, Chicken Jockey, and Flint and Steel scenes.
