STORYTIME

So this is the first ever of my entirely digital art pieces. Up untill this point, I was drawing all my stuff traditionally, then scanning it onto this dinosaur of a computer, then finishing the colouring with a mouse. I was using a mouse because that PC was so old, if I were to use the drawing tablet and Photoshop at the same time, it would just straight up freeze.

But this week I was able to buy a really good computer; one that would allow me to do all my stuff digitally. I don't have to deal with my old crappy equipment now. It works SO smoothly. I never owned a decent PC in my life. Now I feel like I can do great digital artwork.

But this is all thanks to the kind people here who supported me and bought my artwork. The artwork I was producing with really bad equipment. The artwork of questionable quality, in all honesty. The artwork that people on this subreddit seem to actually like. I can't thank y'all enough. It's because of your support that I'm able to start my artist carrer off with flying colours.

I've started selling art about a month ago. To think 30 days ago, I was just this nobody who aspired to be a professional artist. Today, we have over 100 followers on Reddit and Twitter. May not be a huge milestone, but it really means a lot to me that so many people like what I do. It gives me the confidence to pursue my dream.
