The dólar blue is the American dollar sold freely by individuals without permission of the government, and without limits. Thanks to Alejandro Agustín Lanusse and the Argentine Revolution (Law 18924/1971), it is illegal to trade with foreign currencies without authorization of the government. This last month it has been experiencing extreme increases, and people have assumed we're in the eve of an hyperinflation.
