The're not designed as much to recognize talent as they are to sell television advertising, So if a movie you really liked didn't get nomineted, don't freak out. But, Ijust want to take some time on some things people could do to be more open-minded about awards shows and movies in general, while using as animation as a basis as you can One thing that ve noticed with Oscars voters is that they didn't have time to see all the nominees. Considering the list of movies that are creeted before being nominated, I can understand that. Thet's why I feel it would be important to see as a many films of the yearas you can, no matter the quality or premise of it. Even If an animation film festivall is 2 hours away from where you live, GO THERE. You might find something pretty cool.
