As for me, I've been channeling the little free time I've had these past few days into making a Jamie theme for my wall <3.

And pony box set? Yay! I'm afraid I can't support this, as much as I'd like to, because I've already spent the equivalent of my weekly food budget on legally buying music. Which is like $10. Seems to be doing quite well though, being #3 and even surpassing The Avengers in pre-orders. Silly Shout Factory. Never underestimate the power of the bronies.

So, how do you guys get ready to watch a new episode of mlp?

Back during season 2, here was my ritual: Wake up at the crack of noon, excited by the prospect that the new episode has undoubtedly been uploaded to Youtube. I exit my dorm room with laptop in tow, head down to the third floor of the building. I go to the coffee machine and grab a hot cup of mocha/french vanilla blend Black black coffee, as black as my soul, I set up the laptop at a table in the hall no one ever frequents, I find the episode, I take the first drink of my coffee, and I push play.

Soooo basically Borderlands 2 is coming out reeeeeal soon, and I'm super excited.
I also want to hook up with some of the KYM bronies that might be buying it and play the co-op with them.

Just write on my wall and add a link to your steam ID if you want to kick some ass, collect a shit ton of loot, and discuss ponies over steam chat AT THE SAME TIME.

Jump in a steam chatroom with all Aussie Bronies and fire up the episode to watch LIVE!

I would wake up at 8 to help my mom get groceries like every Saturday morning (shut up when I was younger I used to go to a friends house every Saturday instead okay) – we'd leave at 9 and come back home around 10:15 – when the new episode was just about to be uploaded. On my way back to my room, I would usually smell a surprise for me in the litter box that I'd have to take care of. Once I got anything else I had to do out of the way, I'd turn on my computer, go on Equestria Daily and play the waiting game.

I was kind of annoyed once the timeslot changed because being able to watch it earlier was much more convenient for me as I could do what I wanted with the rest of the day without being interrupted. Oh well.

I would try to watch as many episodes as I could live, but for a while they were livestreaming at 5 a.m. here so I missed a couple.
Usually, I'd just set my alarm to 30 minutes ahead, roll out of bed, and get straight to the pony.
I still remember how my still-sleepy brain reacted to Derpy's appearance.
Good times.
Then, they pushed it back so I could wake up at a more normal time and all was well.

I wish I did what you did. When I first decided to give pony a shot, I burned through all of season 1 in two days.

Well if I had the time, and nothing else to do, I probably would. I have the attention span for that when I watch TV for the sake of doing something. Thing is, I only started seriously watching the show after I got to college, and my time for just sitting in front of the computer has really gone away – I have so much social stuff to do. If I had a full day to dedicate to just ponies, I would watch all of season 2 in that day.

The first attempt I made at vectoring a pony together…kinda sucked and I've been using Inkscape for a year now. Despite that, I still can't get that show-accuracy. I'm going to download that vector and search for flaws because I refuse to believe you got it perfectly the first time despite using Inkscape 363 days less than I have

Today is my Birthday, yay~!

Whenever a new episode comes out, I usually don't get to watch it until late Saturday evening or Sunday. It's because I always wait for the highest quality version to be uploaded. By the time that happens, I have to go to work because I'm always scheduled to work on Saturday. When I get home, I watch the episode or go to sleep and watch it the next day.

My pony ritual?

I watch it on TV because I have some BOMB-ASS CABLE! that gets the HUB, and it plays from 7-8 where I live, which gives me time to get ready for classes or whatever while I listen to the show. Same deal except on Saturdays and later in the day if it's a new episode.

I came to ponu right before the season 2 finale, so i never had to wait for an episode. When i started watching the show, i didn't have any time at all and watched only one or two episodes a day. I guess that i won't watch the season 3 episodes on a livestream and wait for the youtube release.

Nothing as usual. Bikini's, however implemented, are too questionable. You've seen how ponies wearing panties has the strange effect of turning the show into softcore porn. The studio would not want to encourage that.

We won't see ponies in Bikini's unless it would not make sense for them not to be there. And really, what reason would there be? Keeping sand out of their vagina's? Now there's an implication you want to carry into a kids show!

But I would go with none, personally. I don't really care to see ponies in swimsuits.

As for what the writers and animators would want, I can assure you that it wouldn't be anatomically correct. If that was the case, then the doors wouldn't have doorknobs and cups wouldn't have small handles. And it would take away from actually paying attention to what's happening in the episode.

Also, there wouldn't be much need to wear anything to the beach anyway. Humans wear clothes to cover up. Pony wear clothes at fancy events and the like. They serve no purpose outside of fashion. So if someone were to wear something, then it would likely be Rarity.

There's a chance that they'd wear human-based outfits. They've already referenced nudity explicitly ("Beg pardon, Rarity, but, uh, we don't normally wear clothes.") and implied shame when having clothes/covering removed (i.e. When Fluttershy had her cover removed from her by Rainbow Dash in the cider episode that I never bother to memorize the title of.)
 
But I'd figure that the only pony to wear anything would be Rarity, and it would be something that would be "modest" by human standards (e.g. a one piece swimsuit with a skirt, or a sundress that one of the ponies gets wet, because Rarity would not want to get her hair wet.)

Incorrect. The ponies have been shown wearing some type of clothing for functionality or protection as well. Such as scarves during the winter, raincoats during the rain, and galoshes during multiple events.

Not even mentioning Pinkie's swimming gear during Griffon the Brush Off:

She's not wearing a top, man that's hawt.

But yeah, I think they'll give them clothing during a beach episode, whether only for matching purposes with the event at hand (going swimming).

As for what they would wear, we have to go back to the fact that it's a kids show. So I don't think they'll give them some questionable bikinis that could arouse viewers. Going with functionality, they would most likely give them a one piece or a two piece of which both pieces covering up quite a bit, with the type changing for each person. Twilight would get some nerdy striped full body suit, AJ and RD would get something sportive, while Rarity gets something fashionable (duh). Spike would get swimming shorts, I don't think they'll give him a ballcrusher.

But hey, who knows, they might give them bikinis. If they give furries bikinis in kids shows, who knows what they might do with ponies.

For gear on the beach? I wouldn't expect them to wear anything except for some accessories.

Rainbow Dash would have sunglasses and Rarity some fancy hat or some such. Perhaps she'll go full out and make a dress for it, no matter how impractical:

Seriously, I don't know where this trend came from, It's canonical that unlike real Ponies, MLP Ponies have chest-boobs and thus will wear normal bikinis if any, as confirmed by this screenshot from the show:

I've almost forgotten how I got ready to watch pony.
I'd wake up between 6:30 and 7:30, have orange juice or milk for breakfast, attempt to write in my fanfics until pony time, watch ponies, smile, play TF2 until noon.
