The Amazing World of Gumball (sometimes referred to simply as Gumball) is a British animated series created by Ben Bocquelet on Cartoon Network. The show revolves around Gumball and his family as they have their daily adventures in the city of Elmore.
History
The original pilot of the show titled "Gumball" (also known as the early reel) was submitted to Adult Swim from 2008 to 2010, but was rejected due to the show being "way too extremely mind-blowingly cute"[2].
