Elon Musk has found himself tied to an emasculating rumor lately, which alleges that he got a "botched penis implant" that made him impotent sometime in the past.
The rumor has rapidly spread this week across multiple social media platforms, following major controversies surrounding the billionaire like the Zoomers hired at D.O.G.E. and concerns that he might be enacting what many are calling a "hostile takeover" of the U.S. government with their floppy-haired help.
Although many of his current scandals are political in nature, his alleged baby with political commentator Ashley St. Clair seems to be the direct catalyst for this "botched" rumor.

On Saturday, a Twitter / X user named Cloning Hour replied to a post from rapper and singer-songwriter Azealia Banks, who was in the midst of an online rant about Elon Musk. In their interaction, Banks hypothesized about his johnson's functionality. Cloning Hour responded, "I heard he has a botched penis implant."
Banks saw the reply and decided to amplify it by quote tweeting the post and writing, "Grimes told me this too." She was referencing fellow recording artist Grimes, who she used to be close with. However, the two had a major feud back in 2018 when Grimes and Musk were an item (originally revealed at that year's MET Gala).
Ever since then, it's been perfectly clear that Banks dislikes Musk on a cosmic level. But because of her relationship with Grimes, a lot of people online trust what she reveals about him. Ultimately, however, this recent rumor is entirely unconfirmed right now.
Why Are People Believing This Rumor?
This rumor comes out of the viral discourse in the aftermath of conservative political commentator Ashley St. Clair's bombshell tweet from last week. She alleged that she and Elon Musk had a baby five months ago with a surrogate mother and he wasn't responding to her messages post-birth.
St. Clair talked to the New York Post about her allegations soon after, claiming that she met Musk when he "slid into [her] DMs" on X in 2023.
If she's right, that means that Musk has 13 children across four "baby mamas," making onlookers like rapper Meek Mill either jealous or grossed out (it's kind of hard to tell which).
This Ashley St. Clair scandal is what inspired Azealia Banks' rant that eventually led to the "botched implant" rumor really gaining traction online. People believe the rumor because, of those 13 children, only one (X Æ A-12) has reportedly been born naturally. The rest have been born from either in vitro fertilization (IVF) or surrogate mothers, alluding to some that Musk purportedly cannot perform in bed.
How Is The Rumor Spreading In Memes?
The rumor is spreading en masse via memes on Elon Musk's own website X, the so-called "everything app." As many people flock to Bluesky and Threads to protest Musk's questionable behavior, many still on the platform are looking for ways to make fun of him to his face.
Musk recently tweeted, "I am endlessly amused by the infinite indignities I suffer on the very platform that I own," referencing the slew of negative posts directed at him. With this new rumor, it seems that people have found another interesting angle to take that perhaps explains to them why he is the way that he is — whether it's a rumor or not.
