Meek Mill Is Not A Real Person, also known as Meek Mill Is A Social Experiment, is a conspiracy theory that rapper Meek Mill is not human due to multiple pieces of media that supposedly prove otherwise. This is mostly due to his odd, physical mannerisms that read more like an NPC or alien to some. Starting in 2020, multiple "Meek Mill Is Not A Real Person" Twitter threads surfaced that outlined the supposed mounting evidence. TikTok videos soon followed, as well as discourse on Reddit going into 2022.

Meek Mill's Fries on Legs by the Pool Instagram Story
On December 11th, 2019, Twitter[1] user luv2sick tweeted a screenshot of Meek Mill's then-recent Instagram story that showed the rapper's wet legs dangling in a pool with what looked like McDonald's french fries on them. Twitter user luv2sick simply captioned the screenshot, "Bro??" and received roughly 66,900 likes in three years (shown below).
Meek Mill is Not a Real Person Twitter Thread
On October 5th, 2020, Twitter[2] user nikkashmeat tweeted, "i’m convinced meek mill isn’t a real person" and used two pieces of evidence to back up their claim. The first was Meek Mill's "french fries" Instagram story and the second was a then-recent Instagram post from Meek Mill that showed him playing chess with the caption, "Play the game like a king." Twitter user nikkashmeat received over 260 likes in two years, being the first to label Meek Mill as non-human (shown below).

On May 30th, 2021, Twitter[3] user fuckkkankan tweeted, "meek mill cant be a real person 😂," gaining over 330 likes in a year and a half. On August 20th, 2021, Twitter[4] user WannaBeReece tweeted, "Meek Mill is NOT a real person (Thread)," and received roughly 74,600 likes in 15 months. Twitter user WannaBeReece's thread predominantly popularized the theory and outlined multiple pieces of evidence such as:
Meek Mill's Front Flip at a 76er's Game
On October 21st, 2017, Meek Mill was a celebrity guest at a Philadelphia 76ers basketball game and was recorded doing a front flip on a mini trampoline in one of the back hallways. News outlets like Yahoo![5] reported on the viral video and it was also uploaded to YouTube. [6] The video was the first piece of evidence levied in WannaBeReece's May 30th, 2021, Twitter[7] thread, gaining roughly 24,900 likes in 15 months (shown below).

Meek Mill's Food and Meals
The next piece of evidence in WannaBeReece's Twitter[8] thread was screenshots of Meek Mill's food that he shared on his Instagram story. WannaBeReece captioned the screenshots, "no real person is eating this shit bro," and gained roughly 8,100 likes in 15 months (shown below, left). WannaBeReece then tweeted[9] the "french fries by the pool" Instagram story, captioning it, "no real person is taking a picture like this," and gaining roughly 15,000 likes in 15 months (shown below, right).
Meek Mill Diving Into a Pool
Besides other pieces of evidence in WannaBeReece's Twitter thread, another key piece of evidence was a video of Meek Mill diving into a swimming pool which was originally tweeted by the Twitter[10] account BleacherReport on August 20th, 2021, a day prior to WannaBeReece's thread. WannaBeReece was inspired by the video to create the thread and his tweet[11] that included the video received roughly 20,300 likes in 15 months (shown below).

Two days later, on August 23rd, 2021, Twitter user WannaBeReece posted a TikTok[12] about his viral Twitter thread in which he green-screened himself in front of it and outlined all of his evidence. Over the course of 15 months, the TikTok received roughly 1.1 million plays and 254,400 likes (shown below, left). About two weeks later, on September 6th, 2021, TikToker[13] thatskierre posted a similar video that outlined the evidence against Meek Mill's personhood, gaining roughly 1.1 million plays and 289,200 likes in 14 months (shown below, right).

Meek Mill Lifting Bar with One Hand
On June 13th, 2022, the Twitter[14] account of HotFreestyle tweeted a video of Meek Mill working out in the gym, lifting a large bar meant for two hands with only one hand. The next day, WannaBeReece added the video to his "Meek Mill is Not a Real Person" thread,[15] gaining over 170 likes in five months (shown below). Overall, the video received roughly 6.6 million views in five months.

Further Spread
The concept of Meek Mill not being a real person surfaced again en masse in late 2022 following two Twitter[16][17] threads started by the account MomentsOfRap on November 1st and November 5th, 2022. The first thread[16] received roughly 129,700 likes in six days (shown below, left) and the second thread[17] received roughly 76,400 likes in two days (shown below, right).
