First off, hi everybody! Hope you all had a good christmas/chanukah/kwanza/festivus/4th quartile of december/etc.
I've been busy playing forza/revelations/saints row 3 (in which I made the 10th doctor and a humanized Pon-3) and spending time with the family, so I haven't been able to post much. Even though I haven't been posting I've been lurking, so I'm gonna adress some random stuff, and it may seem like I'm going a bit off the walls so I apologize in advance for any non-sensicality (sp?)

You and everypony else who actually saw these cartoon when they were on are lucky. I was never _really _ interested in cartoons and just at the age when I could enjoy them, there was only Spongbob… The old ones weren't bad but half way through their 10 years they went derp. I don't really know, I'm just happy that I have FiM now, it's nice.

In the comments on EqD they worked the puzzle out to: "more from main characters." It's a bit obvious that there would be more content from the main characters. However, I think that either the "from" or "main" could be replaced to specify a type of new or other character. But, it is very nonspecific, the only one we could probably bet on is the last one being "characters."

News from Ponychan
The NSFW tag has seemingly been confusing people for a long time, so we are phasing it out. Porn and gore have never been allowed on ponychan, yet the existence of this tag has made people believe that they are allowed to post these things as long as they tag it. You would be amazed how many ban appeals we have seen recently saying "Sorry, I'll tag it next time" or "Why did you ban me? I tagged it." We've also seen reports for "NSFW outside of NSFW permitted boards." The fact of the matter is, the things which most people consider NSFW are not allowed on any board, the tag only existed as a compromise for people to post some bordeline things before. We feel like the rules will be a lot clearer and more consistent if we simply do away with the tag altogether. We would like to encourage an atmosphere of relative innocence here, if you want porn and grimdark ponies, there are other sites where you can find that. Please do not post it here under any circumstances.

Additionally, we are getting rid of the "artistic nudes are allowed" rule because, again, it was simply confusing. Precisely where the line was to be drawn was always hard to determine, and everyone had a different idea of what qualified as acceptable.

But was there ever really any shitstorm? Were people just getting too excited over a very, very minor disagreement? Perhaps to learn if this thread really has been getting more unstable, we should look for examples of what a shitstorm is. At that, I point you to the JFF forum.

Just recently the JFF forum had a TRUE shitstorm. More than one troll had a lunge at it while some whiny little kid (who may have been the trolls sock puppet account) filled it with gibberish. People were butthurt, threads got locked, internet fights started and we are not talking minor disagreements here, we are talking entire pages of one-on-one post duels. Take a look yourself. Look at all that Discord. THAT was a shitstorm

After coming back from the JFF forum after 6 locked threads and at least one forum ban I looked back over the last 2 pages in this thread and saw….regular posting. This thread is still very calm, casual and good natured by comparison. We're all getting along just fine.

If there were ever any shitstorms on this thread…we have not had one recently,

So in conclusion, lets put away any concerns over this thread getting too serious. Lets just post a ton of pony images like we used to

No really. I know I'm one of those tl;dr posters who dislikes image spam and wants to have boring discussions. But at least for a short while, I want this thread to be like it was when I first came here: Fast, spontaneous, funny and loaded with pony macro's with the occasional discussion for those who wanted it. Where everyone was having fun and not worrying about anything. (Thanks to those doing that already)

Besides I am tired of the hate, I see this thread as a place of peace and happiness, even the most hostile trolls come here they will be driven off or banned, I just want to post in this thread for no and other threads that have not been trolled yet.

Aaaaww, finally. After almost four days away from a decent computer, It's good to be back to the pony forum. Now, let's see what have I miss-

Holy shit guys, I can't leave you alone for 4 days and you turn this thread upside down!?!?!

But anyways, it seems things got back to normal and I appreciate it. Today is the last day of the year, so let's keep up with the peace and harmony spirit and make this thread go to 2012 with everyone who contribute to it in a good mood.

I'll return to regularly post only next year (get it??), so I'll already wish you all a Happy New Year and that in 2012 all of good happen to you.
