Send it to EqD so they can feature it in one of their Ask Blog compilations. You'll get some good traffic from that.

We have seen ponies offer applause my stomping their front hooves on the ground, a very logical thing for quadrupeds to do but then we have scenes like this (and others such as Twilight during Look before you Sleep) "clapping" very similar to humans or other bipedal creatures.

Why is this?

Good news, guys! (Well, for me anyway. Don't know how you'll feel about it.)

Not only do I have access to a decent computer, but it's faster than the one I use off in the state of Misery (what typo?) Still won't be on as often for about another week, but more often than I have over the past couple of weeks. Yay, I can see you guys!

As for Hasbro taking down videos, I've had a while to think about how this would go. At first I thought it would have been the death of the fandom. It may have been to begin with, but we're in too deep. If we want to watch ponies, there are other means of doing so. People will keep uploading episodes on YouTube, and I'll keep watching them.

Like burning_phoneix said, you can watch anime and western cartoons on other sites. FiM will likely start popping up there as well.
 
I would like to say that Hasbro is not shooting itself in the foot. Bronies are not as large as the target demographic. Bronies do not buy as much as the target demographic. The numbers aren't even close, sorry to say. And like I said, they've made commercials, billboards, and even now aren't terribly strict or quick about getting episodes off of YouTube. They've gone above and beyond catering to us.
 
I say it's time for us to buy what you can (if you want it and you have the means) and show support for the show. I've ordered one set of DVDs that should get to me in March. I'll probably order the one I saw a couple of weeks ago on EqD in time as well.
 
As it stands now, it's slightly inconvenient. Just don't kill off Ponibooru, the tumblrs, and this thread, and I'll be alright.

Got this specifically for Citation. Was happy to see your rage post. I like humanizations. A lot. I don't mind that it's a different incarnation of pony as long as the content is still like FiM and the art is good.

Alright, first of all think of as many different examples of people clapping as you can.
Theres the golf clap, for (when not used sarcastically) minor achievements, usually among ritzy people (again, when non-sarcastic)

Then there's the minor applaud, such as at the end of the average speech

After that the major applause, for when something was so beautiful/meaningful/awesome that you put alot of emotion into each clap

Then there's the… uhh… um… this

You get the picture. So since ponies have a human like culture and thought process, but different phisiology, they will have different claps for different occasions, and this may incoude stomping.(not to mention humans will stomp on occasion, see "we will rock you" at any sporting event)
"But wait! That doesn't answer why sometimes they clap, and other times they stomp!"
I was getting to that:
The ponies regularly show bipedal tendancies in addition to their default quadrupedal stance. Pinkie is a prime example, as in almost all her dances for musical numbers she does something bipedally. This is especially apparent at the end of the evil enchantress song, where she holds a bipedal pose while seemingly exerting no additional effort to the usual dancing. Another instance is when pinkie does the announcing for the running of the leaves, she spends the entire time in the balloon on two hooves. And to even out the Pinkie, discorded Rarity preforms a stereotypical martial arts kick on AJ when she goes near Tom, and holds the two hooved kung fu pose for a second or two afterwards. Point being the ponies are quadrupedal by default, but require relatively little effort to be bipedal for short periods of time.

Let me finish, dammit! So when you combine the necessity for different styles of showing your approval with the ability to be both quadrupedal and bipedal? Correct! Stomping or clapping depending on the occasion and your level of approval.

The thing about the DVDs, when I get DVDs, I like for them to be a complete set and not just a bunch of episodes grouped together, case in point, Star Trek: TNG, I have the entire set, and you can't tell me that when Paramount can box all of TNG together, that Hasbro can't box a cartoon that has much less episodes together.

I see where both you and Hasbro are coming from. Hasbro taking down the YouTube episodes, while disappointing, is understandable, at least from a business perspective.
However, what about getting more bronies, though?
Without YouTube, I probably never would have watched the show.
While I'll now try to catch an episode when it's on TV, I never would have bothered previously.
Bronies still contribute quite a lot to the show, even (if at least fiscally) not as much as the target audience.

Speaking of contributing to the show, I came up with the most idiotic idea in the history of everything ever.
1: Wait until pony DVD comes out
2: Take $10 Wal-Mart gift card
3: Head to Wal-Mart, which is quite literally a stone's throw away, while Dad's not home.
4: The Friendship Express acquired!
5: Copy DVD onto laptop
6: Give DVD to friend Octavia Todd (who idiotically made a new account).
7: Profit

There's obvious holes in the plan ("Wait… what happened to that gift card of yours?"), but it's pretty much the only way I could buy the DVD without my father disowning me.
