What do you guys think?

It was taken with an ipod, crappy quality sorry.

Needs moar work. Not because it sucks. But because 45 mins isn't enough time.

Heh, I'm just glad he didn't resort to that tired old trolling deal of calling MLP fans fags or gay, you want to talk about something that's old.

This is the best idea I have heard in a long time. It all makes perfect sense!

I can picture it now: Rarity goes underground in search of diamond but instead finds the ruins of New York buried deep beneath the earth.

Fanfiction writers! get working!

There was a grimdark picture drawn a really long time ago of Celestia and Luna standing over the corpses of dozens of humans. Celestia looks pleased and Luna is horrified "Celestia….you…you killed our masters?"

It was quite disturbing to look at, really.

That kinda reminds me of that The Conversion Bureau fic, only with the humans being turned into ponies instead of the humans being killed off.

Wow. You know its pretty good if Gigatoast says he's jelly.

I agree with Badsitrep, its outstanding, especially considering it was done in 45 minutes. Imagine what you could do if you take longer than that?

I once got bored…so I picked up a pencil and started drawing…what I learned since that day ?
I actually managed to draw "profiles" of ponies and parts of the back.
After being astonished at how well it came out (considering my draw skills)
I tried to draw the rest of the body, but I kept on messing up…a lot ._.
If I can find a way to upload it then I will.

I'm that FB commenter Dell. I was told to introduce myself on the forums, and so I did. So ask away any questions, whether it's my stance on the show, fandom, it's other stuff, or other misc stuff like my favorite way to destroy people in BF3, or drawing ability.
So have a great day and hope to see y'all in the future.

Sorry if I sound rude and maybe I'm just derping. But your name doesn't really ring a bell to me.

So here's my question: Can you tell us a bit more about yourself?

As we have that covered. WELCOME! If have any questions or suggestions about the site, memes, or whatever. Feel free to ask.

As for your images question. Go the image section and click on add. If they're pony drawings, feel free to add them to the MLP image gallery using the same method. Or just use a seperate source like Imgur or Imageshack.

When it comes to posting, just place the URL of the image between 2 exlamation marks.

I couldn't see the image until now. I'll let you have free reign on how you'd like to draw my character. Color, shape, size…have at it. I'd prefer there to be no Cutie Mark, because I think I'm being drawn as a deer and not as a pony. But I'm not going to be picky about it either way. And your drawing skills are still greater than my own, and I refuse to create a Generated Verbose, so I won't complain at all. Thanks, dude.

I'd think that the DVD would cost more than $10. But that's the only hole I see. There's also the possibility that Wal-Mart won't even carry DVDs. I've seen toys there, but no DVDs yet.

As for getting more bronies, I don't think Hasbro's concerned about that. Personally, I'd love to see how big the fandom can get, but Hasbro just sees us as a bonus. If our numbers were something they were banking on, they'd do more in terms of the community. If they were completely indifferent, they wouldn't care about the illegal and borderline illegal activities of bronies.

It feels as if we're in the middle. Hasbro isn't targeting us much, but they are no longer indifferent towards us. I feel as if that means we have gotten fairly large in number, but not quite influential. Either way, we've eclipsed the point of getting the views of a FiM episode above 1,000,000. Hasbro (or trolls) will catch any episode before that point. Even if we were to outgrow the target demographic, YouTube episodes would likely be more restricted than returning. I think they know that money is out there in the brony community, and they're putting their plan into motion as to how to cash in.

Maybe.

  2. When following the page of that link, it leads to my wall here. Me and Dr. Stantz had a conversation where he used "Faust." Off to the side was the "Trollface/Coolface/Problem?" meme.

That's why my image popped up, I guess. Both words were on my wall at that time.

In this thread, we over-analyze snuggle and hug mechanics and techniques…
Since snuggle mechanics are being discussed, I suggest the following discussion:

How comfortable is it for a human to hug a pony? although we have a somewhat accurate estimation of an adult pony's height, I see no mention of what height will a pony reach when standing on it's hind-legs.
Of course, here I'm assuming that the hugging will occur when both parties are standing in a bi-pedal fashion.
but if the height is insufficient, what is the degree of uncomfortableness involved if the human is forced to kneel to hug said pony? would a kneeling human be at eye level with a pony?

And yes, I understand all this talk about uncomfortableness is theoretical at best, because as we all know, hugging a pony will likely result in the human's heart exploding of happiness, possibly even twice.

Also, since we have discussed the different types of applause, In which case is Nuzzling appropriate in contrast to Hugging or Snuggling in the Pony society? what does each symbolize?

@Phoneix: Actually it's the BLU engineer's name, most people tend to get those mixed up…

And I'm glad the video I posted made it to the front page, such an honor!

That video did remind me though….I'm probably the only person in the world not playing Skyrim. I hope Steam patched up their security flaws after that hack, cause that is going to change this month.

Alright then my brudda.
Brace yourselves kinda long read
I have been here for about…a couple of years now so I know most of this site and how people hate FB users. Anyways ever since you can comment with FB I decided to post a few comments. Until one day I stumbled upon a image of a little pony. Being raised by girls (father left when I was young) I thought it was pretty cute and adorable. So I went on it and commented how it was kinda nice. Looking at the link I actually didn't know about "Bronies" so I kinda looked around and saw the images. So I thought "Why would a bunch of guys like this ?" But being raised here in Waco TX…let's just say in here if you like something that's girly then people WILL beat you up and forever isolate you. Then I remembered that unlike those idiots I actually care for other people, never stole from the poor and only give to them (one guy bragged about stealing from a homeless man), and I NEVER judge people before I know them. So I wanted to watch a episode, so I did (brother put it on my Xbox and I was to lazy to change it) after watching it I loved it. Then I thought about people in my school, I know them, and I know for a fact that they will beat you up, mock you, and isolate you from them. So I kept it a secret and only my friends know. Some of them called me words that are just not right, so after shoving me I lost them and never spoke. My real friends stayed and accepted me.
It's pretty sad here in High School. They judge you from color of your skin, to what you believe in, and even on how you draw.
I had trouble becoming a good person ever since Middle School, High School made it worse. For some reason and I don't know how but MLP actually did something that I couldn't do…and that was to become a better person that I was before. Now I'm a pretty calm guy and more laid back.

So there you have it buddy. A little bit of my life.
Thank you MLP. You made me a better person.

I'd guess it'd be similar to hugging a child, really. Not uncomfortable at all and if height is really a problem, just lift the pony, I'm sure some of them would like it. (I'm looking at Pinkie Pie)

But really, I could suspended upside down with my balls in a vice and if I hugged a pony (non-sexually) at that time I'd be like:

Here, I think this pic shows more or less the difference between an adult person and a pony

Now, if the man was to hug the pony, we can see he wouldn't need to knee in order to do it, only bend a little (I'm assuming on this case since the heights of the man and the pony are unknown), what would nonethless lead to discomfort.

Now if the pony was standing, we see it would become taller than the man, making the act of the hug far more comfortable for the him, but perhaps not for the pony, since assuming a bipedal position would force the animal to equilibrate in his hind legs, something he for sure wouldn't stand for long.

Now class, any questions?

And no Berry, it's not Rape Time already.

You are assuming Ponies in the show are a similar size to real ponies, which I doubt.

And ponies on the show stand bipedal all the time so I guess it's not too uncomfortable for them.

Well, I assumed @X-singular was talking about real ponies, so my answer is based on real ponies.

And about the ponies on the show, you're right, they seem to be smaller than the IRL ones (where the average size is 1.4/1.5 m tall)
