Due to recent hard times, I would suggest that all of Europe band together to survive. We simply cannot continue pointless wars with other Countries and expect to rebuild the World to what it once was before the Nuclear Holocaust!

OFFICIAL STATEMENT FROM THE SURVIVING FINNISH UNION:

I agree wholeheartedly, what is left of the the Russian region is firmly is European hands (aka mine), and when the fallout recedes we can send specialized teams out to recover what's left of their supplies and technology. Until then, I am calling that all European nations share any and all research projects completed or about to be completed to ensure our mutual survival. My teams are working around the clock to raise a human's resistance to radiation on the genetic level, and will willingly share the product of that technology to all who ask for it.
Scandinavia and I will continue constructing our undersea cities in the hopes that one day soon all European citizens will have a safe place to call home.

Official Statement from The North African Lunar Colonies

North Africa proposes utilizing the land in southern Africa the was not attacked by Russia as a safe-haven for all survivors. We must use all out remaining resources and come up with a solution to save our planet and its inhabitants. First, we must focus on surviving through the remainder of the radiation and destruction. We can construct underground and underwater cities and bunkers, Scandinavia has already done. Next, we must find a solution to the drastic climate change that now threatens us. Collectively, we may be able to reverse it and return to a more stable climate. If we can overcome these tasks, then we can begin to rebuild our planet.

While we Buddhists would normally advocate vegetarianism on the basis of stopping animal cruelty, we now urge the remaining people of the earth to consider the benefits of a diet without animal products for economic reasons, as the production of meat is known to use far more resources than the production of vegetables and grains. With the current trend of global cooling, the nations of central Asia will probably not be able to sustain ourselves agriculturally without the use of extensive greenhouses and/or hydroponics, which we will focusing on developing further in the months to come. We suggest that the nations of the world do likewise, as well as support agriculture in southern Africa and western Australia for the sake of feeding the survivors of the nuclear holocaust worldwide.

Scandinavia is willing to band together in the Alliance Suggested by Germany. We will focus on rebuilding our cities, and populating the Baltic sea.

If this is not enough, we plan to build a city in the North sea, powered by the geothermal energy from the Magma currents. We will call this city Rapture.

Now I would send aid, even if you did nuke the world. But really, I have no spacecraft, and I have to focus on my underwater cities, which people from all over the world are now travelling too.

We might be able to find some food. I heard there are dead berries on Mars, maybe they have some nutrition in them? Also, we might be able to travel to SMG's city, to beg for aid.

I'd guess at the most a frozen lake, but I don't think dead berries would work…but SMG's city might work.

Despite any claims of our city being destroyed, they are not true. We have strengthened our atmosphere to levels capable of holding oxygen, and our generators have filled it with such. So we can now walk amoung the surface of mars with out any kind oxygen tanks of any source.

We would also like to help out the remaining Colonies of Earth to rebuild thier depleting atmosphere as well with our technology, to save Earth, and to help the Americans build their Colony on the Moon.

As for the Russians, we have been extremely disgusted and disappointed by your recent actions. As for this, we deny to assist you in any way what so ever. If any Russian ship travels within 50,000 miles of mars, they will be shot down on instant.

This has stagnated farming efficiency worldwide. The lack of melting ice has destroyed many people's access to water.
-Death by radiation poisoning, being last year's top killer, has now been surpassed by hunger. The new world has no place for farms or animals where they used to be, as entire ecosystems have ceased to exist or altered beyond recognition. Mass extinction of various species has occurred, severely limiting the animal kingdom and humanity's access to food.
-Earth's human population has decended to 900 million.

Being closer to earth than the moon, this station will be far easier to construct, maintain, and send people to. However, it is very likely that due to the lack of gravity most people won't be able to spend more than a year or two at a time there before icnreasing their risk of bodily malfunctions and death.
-The Sahara desert, no longer the scalding hot windy wasteland it once was, is being colonized by refugees from the Mediteranean coastline. Rivers from odd desert snowfall are begining to flow through the desert, and alongside them silt is piling up for form fertile muddy riverbanks.

-Britain can no longer afford the rockets to send people and supplies to their lunar colony. Fortunately, they are self sufficient in almost every mean, and can support themselves for generations to come.
-Control over the Sudan is lost due to poor access to the nation.

-American citizens are encouraged to emigrate to the small African nation of Malawi. The government is only able to fund a small number of this emigration.
-Several states seceed from the union, beleiving either that the national government cannot care for them anymore or that they would fare better on their own.

-Vietnam changes its name to Lotus Flower Corporation. Despite the name change, the state still owns everything, and the government retains its communist tendencies.
-Radiation treatment technologies are being imported from Singapore en masse. Doctors from that city are starting to make regular tours of Vietnam and her dependent states treating the poor in exchange for exorbitant sums of money from the Vietnamese government.

-The Scandinavian peninsula and Denmark are now covered in ice, and those who made it to the undersea cities are cut off from the world above.
-Scandinavia loses its grip over the Low Lands.
-Skyggene soldiers are moved into the undersea colonies and enforce a new police state. Armed with stun batons and rubber bullets, they are ready to squash any dissent in the tiny waterbound community.
-To enhance the fear of Skyggene in the colonies, posters are put up declaring that "Skyggene is Watching", and the Skyggene themselves are dressed in plainclothes and go about average life until a disturbance arrises.

-A small group of German citizens are accepted into the Scandinavian undersea colonies before they are closed off for good.
-The north German coast is locked off by ice, and international trade and movement from Germany ceases entirely.

-Larger portions of the population flee to the undersea colonies before they are shut off from the world forever.
-The effects of the nuclear winter have now decimated the land based Finnish economy, and cut off access to the undersea populations entirely by way of frozen seawater over the entire Baltic.
-Finland itself is entirely dead, and control over the Baltic states is lost to the advancing ice.
-The undersea colonies reach a prime population of five thousand residents, almost exclusively Finns, and is then forced to begin turning away refugees, some of whom came from as far as the Black Sea coast to enter.
-The Finnish Union is now divided into two seperate parts; the undersea baltic colonies, and Finland's foreign assets on the surface. They have no means of communication between eachother.
-Government control over the surface is slipping rapidly with the fall of Helsinki and the primary military hub of the nation. Due to this, as well as the freezing over of Finland, certain actions that Temperance has attempted cannot be taken this turn.
-Military divisions in Siberia with no way home are begining to abandon their posts and flee into Mongolia and Uhgyuristan.

-Cheap, nearly free, radiation treatment is offered to foreigners who join Sing Song Corp. and swear oaths of fealty to the Board of Directors.
-Massive industrial projects have begun in Singapore, including a sea wall to defend against the ocean's currents, invasions, and typhoons.
-Mass immigration from all corners of the globe has quickly made Singapore the largest remaining urban centre in the world. The huge influx of citizens has caused a huge spike in demand for food, and the countryside of Malaysia is being entirely leveled and burned for farming.
-Important SingSong employees are being encouraged further to to embed themselves with cybernetics, and in some cases they are more machine than man.
-Singapore is flaunted as the crown jewel of the human race, and global propaganda makes the smog smuthered city look like a parochial town in the midst of the Garden of Eden.
-Thirteen percent of the world's industrial goods are now porduced in the city of Singapore. Demands for energy, raw materials, and food has led to more aspiring individuals of mediocre wealth to set up operations on foreign shores. This new colonialism is quickly running away with the minds of SingSong investors, who are starting to see the company as a budding territorial empire.

-Greenhouses are being built to capture whatever sunlight breaks through the thick atmosphere and warm the farms and people within.

-Tunnels into the Himilayan mountains are being made to protect teh citizens from harmfull radiat. However, being that central asia was not bombed at all and the extreme elevation of the Himilayas defending them very nicely from radiation, this is pretty much not needed.
