They could. But then I'd send the Antivan Crows to kill everyone in their government, and massacre their citizens en masse. Nobody betrays Giozzario without consequence. (First person to get the reference will be killed in the least brutal way).
And Medicea has been an avid member since the foundation. And while I don't doubt that several people are lying to me, I don't think it would be him. Or it could. But it better not.

Forcing religion is not the best way to gain someones favor.
If you joined the HAZE under the fear of being crush under it you are welcomed to join and will be greeted with open arms.
Any resistances that exist after being felled by the haze are also welcome to seek refuge in Sweetietopia and will be given basic housing and welcomed with open arms no matter your background or religion.

Does anybody watch the show Big Brother? I'm starting to feel like this game is like that, with all the secret deals being struck, and all the backstabing, and alliances and such. I am starting to get a suspicion that more than one of my teammates are going to turn on me this turn. I'm debating starting a revolution in Giozzario, and having the new leader create a global defensive pact, just so everyone doesn't attack and kill my people as revenge… However, I will be making sure my defenses are top notch for the inevitable retaliations on my country. But that doesn't mean I stopped considering the invasion route.

Round 3 should be like Spore.

You could go neutral if you decide to we would not attack you and you don't attack us we are willing to do what ever it takes to decrease the deaths of the innocent theres is nothing haze could do if there members refuse to go to war.

The only reason behind the war is to remove the great tyranny.

The unholy union of HAZE has attemped to establish a tyranny over our beautiful dominion and the dominions of others. To prove this, let Facts be submitted to a candid world.

-They (the minions of Zcula) have attempted to force their religion on us, declared our beliefs false, and attempted to end our peaceful way of life.
-They have crossed our borders in an act of egregious hostility that has disrupted positive scientific and cultural developments and forced us to delve into the realm of violence and hatred that we have attempted to forsake for generations upon generations.
-They have attempted to gain control of the world by utilizing the evils of Capitalism, an evil greater perhaps than Zcula himself, and have attempted to force that evil unto us as well.
-In their despicable religious beliefs, they have declared war is a holy act, and that any peoples that do not accept their own evil religion are infidels that must be destroyed.

Such an evil inquisition in in violation of the personal rights of our people and the human race. Man has a right to believe what they choose, and to live how they choose as well. Its a shame that none of you can inflate your ego enough to try and take on a person of equal strength and believe you can win.

Regarding NPCs, the USA was gonna be the first NPC, but Kokuu struck a deal to get ownership of the new nation and I figured, why not? Besides that, all the white space was not uninhabited, and you have been trampling over nameless nations from day one. Now its just the human players left.

I certainly believe that I will win. Of course, this makes me seem like a hitler for starting a world war and being cocky about it, but eh.
And see? HAZE is not the only one conquering others. Everyone's been doing it, whether they knew it or not.

Yeah. But you only know you will win because you are the most powerful nation militarily, and are allied with the only industrial powers with adequate technology to stand up against you effectively. You can afford to be cocky and forthright about your conquests. Nobody else can.

If you join their side and win (which you won't), your prize is simply winning a war. If you stay with us, and we win (which we shall), then your prize is Glory, Land, and Power. Zçùlanism is not a violent religion, and Zçùla is not an evil god. We would send missionaries to convert your nations peacefully, but the past has shown we must be assertive to get our way. As far as I know, the current alliances are as such:

The HAZE, with Giozzario, the USA, Borgia, Deisa, and Medicea. We have a non- aggression pact with Hephaestus.
vs
The Sweetiebellion, with Sweetieopia, Tita, Yudea, and Bythia. Technically, they have Lakota and Xanthos' support, but they have no military, so it's more of moral support.

Equestria and Hephaestus seem to be neutral as far as military support goes, but they have not made a statement on the forum.

Hephaestus is neutral in terms of Military support to HAZE or the Sweetiebellion and would like to state that we support secularism rather than theocracy. We are also considering pulling out of Yudea despite an extremely rude message from them regarding the recent invasion.

@Kokuu… Yes, which is why I am baffled they would want to get involved in another conflict. Anywho, it makes them that much less of a threat.

I've seen some pretty confusing statements in my life, but this is a winner. You want to make peace? You're going to fight for peace?

I don't think peace is much of an option right now. Even if we all signed a basic peace treaty before the next turn is posted, the global tension is still at Cold War levels, and it would just build up more. As it stands, a HAZE vs. Sweetiebellion war seems unavoidable. But we'd love to hear of any compromise ideas, or treaties.

Regarding the Hephaestus/ Yudean conflict more specifically, we support Hephaestus morally, due to recent fallouts between HAZE and Yudea, but cannot offer military support at the time because of obvious reasons.

Rivãlsò Anòro the great has considered amending the current one person government, and making Giozzario a constitutional monarchy, thus giving religious freedom to citizens, but for the time being declares martial law until a time of peace is established. It is for the citizens own good that decisions are made quickly and authoritatively in war-time. In essence, a constitution and secularism are only a couple victories away.

Well at least the game is more interesting now, though personally I wish the wars woulda started sooner :P
