We didn't fucking want Hillary in the first place!

Did you miss the whole thing about the primary being rigged in her favor? If "liberals" got what they wanted, Bernie Sanders would be smashing Trump right now. Hell, literally any other Democratic candidate would be smashing Trump right now. Clinton doesn't represent liberals, she represents corporations and the wealthy elite, and that's why she couldn't even beat Donald Trump.

The DNC better go to Bernie Sanders, kiss his feet and beg for him to lead the party if they expect to have any relevance in the future.

Sanders/Warren 2020

I mean I probably will too, I love alliteration.

NBC is talking about how they were all sitting together on a bus discussing how Trump would have to drop out of the race at one point lmao. They’re in a state of mourning.

No fucking way. If he takes PA from her, we all need to set our DVRs for every news channel so we can see their faces when they announce that, it's going to be AMAZING.

It's a dark day for America, but it would have been regardless of who won. Depressing as it is that Americans have so totally rejected character in their representatives, I'll admit the schadenfraud at watching Hillary Clinton's career end because she lost to Donald Trump is downright euphoric. Ultra-ambitious Hillary Clinton, scheming after the presidency for decades, lost because she could not even beat a glorified mental patient. There is no coming back from that.

In summary…

Sanders/Warren 2020

The only bright side of all this, IMO.

Clinton's political career is fucked after this election, the Democrats have no other good options, and 4 years of Trump make the 2020 election hell for any conservative. Sanders has a strong chance of winning 2020 if he can get the nomination.

{ 4 years of Trump make the 2020 election hell for any conservative }

What if, hear me out here, the next 4 years turns out okay? Ya'll have been exactly the opposite of correct on everything else you assumed during this election, why stop now?

Joe Heck, NV R, lost to who will be the first Latina in Senate, Catherine Cortez Masto.
He publicly rescinded his endorsement of Trump after one of Trump's controversial comments.

Incidentally, Clinton's pulling back up in Michigan, though she's still behind. This is going to be close as fuck before it's all over.

EDIT:

"Okay" doesn't matter when Trump is at the helm. He could turn out to be the greatest leader in American history and he'd still be a PR nightmare for the GOP. Trump is crude, confrontational, reckless, and enormously politically incorrect (or outright racist, if you ask a sizable chunk of the world population). He's going to be the laughingstock of the world no matter what he actually does in office, and the GOP will look bad as a result.

She has to pull back Michigan, New Hampshire and PA at this point.

Exactly; that moron won't get anything approved or accomplished because Congress hates his ass. Plus there's also the inevitable public outcry and riots and the ultimate fact that he simply doesn't have the experience to do anything well enough. And if anything this just makes smart people realize "Oh shit, we actually should vote and not sit on our asses!"
And he can't fire any nukes. Not without the entire government breathing down his neck.
So just sit tight until 2020, folks.

Michigan is a .7% difference, NH is a .1% difference, and PA is below even .1%. She needs to win three neck and neck races at this point.

{ Trump is crude, confrontational, reckless, and enormously politically incorrect }

And he is now the President of the United States of America.

You telling me I'm going to start caring that Trump is an awful person and vote Democrat if Trump goes on to work with his stacked Congress and improve the country? He'll look like a fuckin' genius.

{ that moron won’t get anything approved or accomplished because Congress hates his ass }

I'm going to chalk this up to the fact that it's still your freshman year in politics. The GOP has been making promises about implementing basic, even moderate conservative policy for the past 12 years and what we got instead was pure Democrat domination. Congress can pass simple things like a 20wk abortion limit, improving the tax code, every conservative in this country is going to say: the only reason those RINO bastards stepped up is because we elected Donald Trump.

PA is increasing for Trump bruh, she held it the WHOLE time, it was barely 1k over when NBC declared it flipped for Trump, now he's ahead 3k. Percentages of percentages no longer matter when the race is this close, start looking at the real numbers.

The only reason im not freaking out is because of this hope that it will just be alright.

But with a Republican everything with a future supreme court majority that hope is being tested.

Look at W. Bush. What do people remember about his term in office more – his policies, or his tendency to flub words like "nuclear"?

The reality of American politics is that politicians tend to be defined by stupid shit like dodging thrown shoes rather than their actual politics. Maybe you'll judge Trump by what he does in office, but the average American will just know him for the stupid things he'll inevitably say.

{ the average American will just know him for the stupid things he’ll inevitably say. }

The average American already knows him for the extremely controversial and stupid things he based his national campaign around and they elected him. I'm just wondering what's going to change their mind, bar the country's collapse.

I think I might legitimately kill myself. I'm 17 so I can't move out of the country and I'm bi so I'm not safe. My only reason to live was my friends, and even they don't care about me very much. I want out.

I can say with the utmost confidence that Bernie would have easily won. Hillary's emails killed her in the end, the constant controversy and in the end that last mention of them a week ago finished her.

Oh calm down and just wait it out. I survived 2 terms of Bush and I only have a mild drug problem. Push the alarm button when he actually does something.

Im confident its going to be bad either way but we have to wait and see just HOW bad. Its not in your control so the best thing is just get over it. There is little to nothing you can do right now so just live your life.

Killing yourself over an election that isn't even over yet is how you get a Darwin Award. You will be 18 soon and the local elections in the aftermath of this are going to be some of the most important we've seen in decades. We're entering a new era in American politics, the Democrats are completely out of power and the leader of the Republican party and country is someone who is not clearly a Republican or Democrat. Party lines are going to be redrawn and you have a chance to be part of that.

I'd tell you to do a shot or take a xannie but you seem like the kind of person who could abuse substances easily.

Things for the Dems to learn: Don't fully rely on negative ad campaigns. Don't constantly disparage Middle America. Rigging primaries will give you weaker candidates. Construct a replicant more lifelike than their current model.

Another Message is to not nominate a candidate that was as hated since Mike Dukakis. GG Trumpettes BTW.

I have been cautious all day. Earlier, I said a Trump presidency is a very real possibility, despite the consensus (and poor PEC, who gave clinton a >99% chance of winning). And throughout the night, I was basically the last holdout. So, consider it confirmed if you haven't already: Trump is President.

After-election results involving how well I did predicting the races will come after it's all tallied up – probably tomorrow, or the day after.

…I'll just ask that you learn tact in personal situations. That's not appropriate to say to an actual person.

I say stuff like that all the time, but "tact" isn't going to magically appear in my personality after 24 years regardless. You also seem to be working under the assumption he was more serious than not.

They called PA. He's at 264.
He might speak soon, it's over now.

I am, not ok with this but not angry but kind of ok but not really…

Its fine, there are many bad things that come with Trump in the white house and there are some good things.

I guess im just fine with this. Atleast

-Hillary is gone and gone for good
-Someone good can run in 2020
-yummy MSM and SJW teirs
-it has been proven meme magic is real
