Oh god… My body was not ready for more fan-fic ideas… I'm barely keeping up with a plot that revolves around a bunch of bat ponies that are all actually the same being.

While it sounds obvious, it could be relating to the myth of Anubis as well. I don't remember any of it at the moment.

Edit: Just read up on Anubis a little bit, he doesn't become shadowy. He was the god of the underworld before Osiris took over and he's usually depicted to have a black jackal head or as an entirely black jackal.

On the one hand, Dislestia is nice since would be more or less a relationship of equals, since only an alicorn could be as powerful as him, and the implied relationship with Bast would indicate that he has a history of hooking up with goddesses. On the other hand, Fluttercord is massively adorable, and him falling for a pegasus would fit well with his redemption narrative.

Of course, we could also have both. I'm totally fine with both.

Okay so, apparently Egyptian mythology is now canon is MLP. Since so many other mythologies are also canon, this makes me wonder how far this extends

Could Thor be canon too? I certainly hope so.

And also Discord is a timelord? But where's Whooves? I'm going to assume that fez is stolen property.

On a related note, Discord, being a being of chaos, time travel would be something he'd do. Though, comparing the show and the comic, Discord makes it look easy while it was a bit more difficult for Twilight. I doubt they'd mess with time plots more in upcoming episodes, in the comic it seems to be small interactions.

And right around the time of the 4th anniversary is when The Hub gets replaced! HAPPY PONY ANNIVERSARY EVERYONE!

It's quite interesting how the rate of incoming art in this fandom hasn't seemed to change pace at all, even though the fandom isn't as popular as it once was

Well, I imagine that the characters are fun to draw for a lot of folks, and it's always kind of interesting to see how artists interpret them. Also presents good study depending on the style. I should try drawing some of the show characters more often.

Oh my god that gif is so cute. Why can't Equestria Girls be more like Nichijou?

In fact – holy crap, that's what it should have been. MLP is already basically a slice-of-life anime with horses to begin with. Adding a layer of crazy to it would have been freaking inspired.

@Platus: I'd be okay with a full on anime Equestria Girls. In fact, we should put more pressure on Hasbro Japan to produce one. :3

Yes! An Equestria Girls anime! It would be the most not-sucky thing to come out of the spinoff yet!

Im sure the Nichijou style would be fantastic for it. FMA style and Fate/Stay night style might be nifty too. Im sure there's a lot more interesting styles out there though. Wakfu style would be interesting.

I always have trouble with animes though, I always wind up putting them on as background noise and wind up being able to tell the story a little bit just by the tone of voices and a few names. That's usually after the first few episodes though.

Hey, so I just two weeks ago found out about Stan Lee's Comikaze which is apparently this new convention hosted by Stan Lee (duh) on Oct 31st – Nov. 2nd that is basically like a mini Comic Con with comics, TV, movies, games, etc.
For some crazy reason though, it has come out of nowhere and announced that the entirety of the main six (Tara Strong, Andrea Libman, Tabitha St. Germaine, and the ever-elusive Ashleigh Ball) will be there and have their own panel and autograph sessions and everything.
It's only two and a half weeks away and I live about 40 minutes outside the city so I totally jumped on buying tickets!
It's not an exclusively-pony convention so I have no idea what the crowd will be like, but getting the full cast together is no easy feat so they are definitely putting their full weight into it.
I'll be sure to try to take some pictures and share what goes down.

Any volunteers willing to collab with me on pone projects?

Hay, if you want to provide background art, voices, scripts, OCs, music and anything else that you made and you're OK with me using them in any of my future pony projects – especially flash or SFM animations (without me giving you money in return, coz I have none), then please go ahead and PM me with those things.

Currently, I'm also looking for people to help design the in-game maps of that Ponymon project I keep teasing. Y'know, the PC game I was making for a couple years now, using ideas and graphics from the Ponymon Dawn/Dusk rom hack (along with a couple quick original graphics by me)? Well, a new version of the game-making kit (Pokemon Essentials) came out, so I was thinking of starting from scratch again, but this time with input from you guys and the experience from the now abandoned version.

Minuette/Colgate- toothpaste
Lemon Hearts- lemon
Trixie- raspberry
Princess Luna- blackberry
Princess Celestia- Pina Colada
Princess Cadance- bubblegum
Shining Armor- coconut

Pinkie Pie did not lick the last three ponies' horns. Twilight licked Celestia's horn after Celestia stopped Pinkie Pie from doing so. As for Cadance and Shining, the author just mentioned the flavors of their horns just for the heck of it.
