This is why the 4kids dub will always beat TPCi's.
Well, there is still/only 5 months till they release Pokemon X/Y
And what I looking most forward for is,
- How much it has change in gameplay and graphics
- The new Gen 6. Despite what everyone saying I am pretty looking forward to it.
- The Trainer Customization,it's something. But mostly you be able to get new outfits and accessories for your Trainer!
- Getting to ride a Pokemon. You can freaking ride on a Pokemon.
- Maybe a new type or two?
And I am still wondering what type Sylveon is,a new type(light/fairy/whatever),a flying type,it's just my guest but maybe a fighting type? Or just a plain normal type?
I'll be getting the X version,Yveltal is more badass cool looking but Xerneas is more mystical and colorful, more to my liking.

Which one's Lyra?

HGSS girl. She's the very best.
First impressions are everything and Team Plasma had a pretty good one (since it appears they're retconning out the "tsunami" episodes). The doctor guy seemed pretty good and they actually had a valid reason to want Pikachu. Interpol's appearance was a nice surprise as well, although I can't help but think they're not really following Team Plasma's MO. Instead of being a "PETA" surrogate that wants to promote Pokemon love and safety, they're ripping off Team Cipher and making "dark" Pokemon.
While it does eliminate the cool plot elements relating to the controversies involving the League, it also eliminates Ghetsis's idiotic "ban all Pokemon so only Team Plasma has them" plan that's so convoluted and complicated I have to wonder if he came up with it while high.
And what's with their hair? My goodness, the doctor and Ghetsis must spend half their day working on their cow licks.
Amazing. But I'll pick chespin, so that's a problem.
Apparently, the reason Team Rocket wants Pikachu is so that they don't have to pay Con Edison. At least, that would explain why they suddenly want to capture a bunch of electric sheep. Sadly, the entire episode follows the boring, repetitive, bash-my-head-in-with-a-hammer style that dogged Pokemon through it's first thirteen seasons. There's the stupid one shot character that could contract AIDS and would get zero sympathy from me because I haven't had any time to become attached to her, Team Rocket's idiocy, and the subplot I've already mostly forgotten.
Did I mention the reptitiveness? I swear they've done the "Team Rocket tries to steal a bunch of herd animals" plot about five times now, and each time is exactly the same. C'mon, writers. Try something new. You have a shit ton of world building you could do instead of this mindless crap.
Team Rocket really needs to go. I know there's the nostalgia factor involved but they aren't doing anything useful anymore. The only thing they were good at was providing humor and they're not doing that anymore. Where's the running jokes? James being the butt of jokes? Meowth's gay fantasies about Giovanni? They tried to do serious, and it clearly didn't work since the writers have snapped them back to their original roles.
Dedicate a movie to resolving the Team Rocket plot that really should have been done in Johto, and let's cut the dead weight.
Any White1Fags out there want to lend me a Thundurus so I can use it to complete my Unova Dex on B2? It and Landorus are literally the only two Pokemon standing between me and both the Oval Charm and the Shiny Charm; every other single Pokemon I have on at least one of my games from third to fifth gen. Any trades will be only temporary, so you'll get your Thundurus back and I'll get whatever I give you back when I'm done. I'm a trustworthy dude.
The members of the Kami trio are the worst Pokemon in fifth gen besides Sawk and Throh
I have White and White 2. But if you can find a Thundurus before I can get to one, then go for that one.
But if you trade me for one, don't worry about getting it back to me. I don't try to catch all of the Pokémon anymore, and I don't like most legendaries (never have.)
fairy type is confirmed.

Pokémon X & Y: October 12th, Fairy-type confirmed! – News – Marriland
So Sylveon really is a fairy type.
At least we finally figure that out.
Oh good, now poison will be useful in higher tiers.
Best Pokemon of sixth gen so far? Best Pokemon of sixth gen so far.
If that 4chan joke of Fletchling being a deceptive, relentless killer turns out to be somewhat true for its final form, I'm going to die laughing (and maybe from having my colon clawed out).
Fire/Flying is pretty damn cool for the obligatory Pidgey expy (painful weaknesses notwithstanding), but "Talonflame"? Seriously?

Ooh, that's a bad name. Just…
Last night, just for fun, I decided to play a little of Explorers of Sky again after such a long time. Since I have played Gates to Infinity for a while now, I was surprised how the older games were, and that they're harder to control than Gates to Infinity. By this, I mean you have to always go to the menu to use moves, and it's harder to get the abilities that really help you in battles.
What I'm basically saying is that the older Mystery Dungeon games should be remade with Gates to Infinity's engine. If regular Pokémon games got remade, then why not the Mystery Dungeon games?
O abnegated forum thread, arise in the name of The Necromancer! NECRO POST! NOW KNOW WHAT TRUE UNLIFE IS.
…So how about that new info on X/Y? Goronda and Karamanero look pretty sweet, and the latter not only has a typing that has been unused before (Dark/Psychic), but also learns a move that sounds like Contrary if it were a move (and appropriately enough, Contrary is one of its possible abilities).
Also, Team Flair/Flare (Flaire?) looks fabulous.
Finally, the GTS will allow you to request Pokémon that haven't been encountered yet. No longer having to trade back and forth between my own games in order to complete the dex.
I just noticed this. Fennekin's known moves are listed, and you might like a certain one in there.
And so, the anime enters the Orange Islands I mean, Decolore Islands arc to pad things out until Gen Six pops up and we get Team Nitrogen or whatever the next villain group will be. I'm so pissed off they didn't bother to have Team Plasma invade the Pokemon League. I was hoping Chairman Goodshow would finally do something other than ogle Cynthia.

You can't blame him and you know it tho.
Also I hadn't been keeping up with the new pokemon reveals for a couple weeks, and the other day I noticed that dark/psychic type among them!
First Slowbro, then Hydreigon and Krookodile…
Why is everything I like these days weak against bug?
From Serebii: (I'd post the video, but its not showing up)
The trailer that aired with the movie has now been put on the Nintendo eShop. This trailer showcases the first official picture of the Pokémon Oorotto. It shows that its appearance matches the image we posted two weeks ago. The trailer also reveals that Fennekin knows a move called Glow Punch and showed off a battle in what appears to be underwater. We expect official artwork soon.

Another fkn fire/fighting…
Doesn't matter, I'm not evolving my Fennekin even if it's secondary type isn't fighting.

Ampharos' mega form confirmed to be God.
You get it by breeding Ampharos with Arceus. Arceus is consumed in the process, of course. Perhaps he'll ride on a chariot pulled by winged Absols.
Ampharos and Feraligatr were two of my favorites in my first playthrough of Silver like Girafarig was. It knew Fire Punch, Strength, Thunderpunch, and Thunder Wave. And even though it probably couldn’t take advantage of Strength (nor did I ever think to use Return), it was always reliable for me. I could send it out against just about any Pokémon, and it always held up.
You will all come to fear Amphy…
It doesn't seem like Mega has been explained well, so here's a link.
Alas, the great pokemon civil war begins.

Before now it was just simply nostalgia, now with everyone jumping to the conclusion that the mega evos are the 4 evolution(which its most likely not), it seems the fandom's really gonna split.
The concept and naming scheme of the Mega Evolutions is giving me some serious Digimon vibes. I can only hope that they aren't Digimon Tamers vibes.
Mew: Yeah, he did it! MegaMewtwo did it! We're free!
MMT: Jeri, give me your hand.
Jeri: *broken*
MMT: Let's go, Jeri!
Mew: *futile shoves*
Come on! You can do it: let's go!
MMT: It's closing…hurry, before it's too late!
Jeri: *breakdown*
MMT: Take my hand! TAKE IT! I'm trying to help you! PLEASE!!
Jeri: *sobbing*
You're not…Litleo…
MMT: wha…

Apparently mega evolution only happens during battle and an item is required.
I'm confused though because there's no telling how many more pokemon – and what pokemon exactly – will be able to mega evolve. Taking a look at our first 6 examples, we have one that evolves from a starter, one that evolves from an uber, 3 that evolve from pokemon who had previous evolutions and 3 that had no previous evolutions at all…
I've been having these dreams in which I've looked at certain books, and they both have Pokémon mentioned and shown within them. The only thing is that these books were apparently created well before Pokémon ever existed, yet some were as new as Generation V. Like I specifically remember seeing Glaceon and Snivy, yet they also didn't mention them as Pokémon. It's almost like the creators of these certain books were predicting.

More likely than not, all the starters will have Mega Evolutions.
By the way, Mega Blaziken is so cool… :D
I have no idea what's going on with these Mega Evolutions. I will say that I hope that Ampharos evolution has some way to make up for its lack of speed.

doesn't matter, it's confirmed Electric/Dragon
Aren't these Mega Evolutions just a very slight edit of a feature already present in the game?
Those are the two forms of Girantina. If you give the normal form the Platinum Orb to hold, Girantina transforms into its origin form. There are other Pokemone who have similar item-based transformations as well, such as Shaymin.
These new Mega Evolutions take place when the battle starts if the Pokemon in question holds a specific item that activates the Mega Evolution, and end when the battle's over. These item-based alternate forms like Girantina and Shaymin start pre-battle, and remain after battle. Both can be undone at any give time simply by taking the hold item from the Pokemon.
So what's new outside of the moment it occurs, and does this make a difference?

I think it's the way it's been sold to us, and what that implies. They're called mega evolutions, which I think a lot of people are uncomfortable with just because they're inclined to distrust new evolutions of old Pokémon, or because a lot of the Pokémon receiving mega evolutions are already in their third stage. In addition, I get the impression that mega evolutions will be direct improvements over their normal forms, whereas before, form changes were purely aesthetic or had drawbacks equal to the benefits. I think there are also fears that the mega evolutions won't be temporary like form changes.
If they aren't direct improvements, then it won't be a big deal, as they won't be any different than form changes introduced in earlier games. I think read somewhere that Mega Ampharos is supposed to be slower than normal Ampharos (which is saying a lot), so there's some indication that there will be downsides as well. I wouldn't even care all that much if they were permanent, since it's not like I couldn't just go breed another of any of those Pokémon, save Mewtwo, when I don't like their mega evolution. The only thing I would be unsure about is giving mega evolutions to so many Pokémon, since meaningful form changes were very limited in the previous generations.
My theory is that Mega Evolutions are completely better, but they only get to be used once. Like, after the battle is over, your Mega Pokemon loses its held item and reverts back to its normal form. So it's an emergency-only kind of thing. That, or it only activates when your Pokemon is at really low health.

Imo, that wouldn't even make sense. You get Mega Blaziken in an event through a Torchic that only holds 1 of the items for it, nothing more. To then only give the player access to it once? That's brutal. I'm fairly certain they don't lose the items.
I'm getting close to completing the National Dex on my White 2 game. However, I'm having a hard time getting a Chatot. The only way to get one is in the Route 18 hidden grotto, and I'm getting tired of running around until something shows up. If anyone has one, preferably a female one, PM me and we can trade.
