About

Ah, Yes! Saturdays Are Made For Dads! is an exploitable scene from the Cartoon Network cartoon Dexter's Laboratory. The scene has been posted as a weekly meme, a la Ladies and Gentlemen, The Weekend, as well as an exploitable meme using the scene for edits, redraws, and recreations.

Origin

The scene is from a short from the first episode of season three of Dexter's Laboratory, which is titled A Dad Cartoon and first aired on November 16th, 2001.[1] In the scene, Dexter's dad opens the front door to his house and exclaims "Ah, yes! Saturdays are made for dads! And dad's car," before grabbing a garden hose to give his car a wash (short shown below).

The new account continues to post the clip each Saturday morning.[4]
