Poland is a Central European country. It is bordered by Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Ukraine, Belarus, Lithuania, and the Baltic Sea. It became independent from the German, Austro-Hungarian, and Russian Empires on November 11, 1918, at the end of World War 1.

After the 1989 Revolution in Poland, the internet began in Poland. For the first time, an Analogue Internet Connection, E-mail, and IP address were introduced in 1990.[1] NASK (Naukowa i Akademicka Sieć Komputerowa, also known as Scientific & Academic Computer Network) was established at the University of Warsaw in 1991. TCP/IP packet and WWW were adopted in Poland in 1991.[2][3] Warsaw University launched the first Polish website on October 20, 1993. Wirtualna Polska (WP) created the first web portal, media, and E-commerce website in 1995. Centertel launched the first digital telecommunication service in Poland in December 1998. From the 2000s to the 2010s, they created their social media in Poland, like Gadu‑Gadu, Grono.net, Nasza-klasa, and Wykop.pl.
