About

David Lynch WWE Parodies refer to video remixes pairing footage from the WWE with music from the television show Twin Peaks, which was created by director David Lynch. The music in the parodies is often "Laura's Theme," composed by Angelo Badalamenti.

Origin

On December 5th, 2018, Facebook user Jeremy Gurto[1] posted a video of the It's Me, Austin! clip from the WWE (then the WWF) while "Laura's Theme" played in the background to the Twin Peaks meme group Twin Peaks Logposting. The video was part of an ongoing #LaurasThemePosting trend of video remixes in the group.
