Donald Trump Showing Objects, also known as Donald Trump Holding Bee or Donald Trump Holding Wasp, is the name of an exploitable meme and series of photoshops of U.S. President Donald Trump showing off a bee or wasp in his hand to his wife, Melania, and King Charles. The image, shared to X / Twitter in late April 2026 shortly after the White House Correspondence Dinner shooting, quickly became the subject of Photoshop edits in which the bee was replaced with something else to amaze Melania and Charles.

Origin

On April 28th, 2026, the official White House X^[1] account uploaded an image of Donald Trump, Melania Trump, King Charles III, and another woman next to a big container of honey. Everyone in the photo is focused on Donald's hand, which contains a small bee, which is compounded by the image caption simply being three Bee emojis (shown below).

Later that day, people began to poke fun at the photo, claiming that since the shooting, Donald Trump had started to commune with nature. This caused people to begin to humorously edit the photo to show various other things in his palm, while keeping the same excitement on the inlooker's face.

On April 28th, 2026, the X accounts @Belbizaz^[2] and @Anchover_^[3] uploaded their edits as replies to the main image, showing Trump fingerboarding and holding a Chaos Emerald, garnering over 38,100 views and 1,600 likes and 12,600 views and 430 likes, respectively, in less than a day.

The format showing President Donald Trump holding and showing off various items continued to spread in late April 2026.

For example, on April 28th, 2026, the X^[4] / Twitter account AutismCapital posted an edit showing Trump holding up a Dragon Ball in his hand, garnering over 66,400 views, 3,700 likes and 50 replies in 22 hours.

Later that day, X^[5] user WomanDefiner posted an edit showing a Gundam in Trump's hand, captioned, "The Kids call it a Gundam, We call it the future of American warfare," receiving over 45,200 views, 3,400 likes and 50 replies in 16 hours.

On April 29th, 2026, Redditor comhaltacht posted another example to the /r/SmilingFriends^[6] subreddit depicting Trump holding Mr. Boss from Smiling Friends, garnering nearly 100 upvotes in 11 hours.
