Don't Bully Me I'll Cum :( is a catchphrase popularized on T-shirts after going viral on Twitter in 2022. The phrase was first tweeted in May 2019 and went viral through a separate tweet in May 2022, inspiring T-shirts and pieces of artwork and fan art where various characters wear shirts printed with the line.

Origin

On May 29th, 2019, Twitter^[1] user @komdogad posted, "Don't bully me I'll cum," gaining over 750 likes and 180 retweets in three years. The phrase was tweeted again by Twitter^[2] user @moofusbird on December 29th and again by Twitter^[3] user @Draethen on July 1st, 2021, gaining over 1,100 likes and 300 retweets and 5,600 likes and 1,000 retweets respectively. On May 22nd, 2022, iFunny^[4] user Crugarz posted a photoshop of a man wearing a shirt with the phrase on it. It is unclear if the user made the photoshop (shown below).

The photoshop was posted to Twitter around this time and went viral, although the tweet was likely deleted, as evidenced by a tweet^[5] by user @Loumatica_, who wrote on May 23rd, "There's a tweet running around with a pic of a guy in a shirt that reads 'don't bully me I'll cum'. It vanished before I could save it 😔 if you happen to see lmk."

Spread

On May 28th, 2022, Redditor guilhermepire21 posted a drawing of Modeus from Helltaker wearing the shirt to /r/helltaker,^[6] gaining over 3,400 upvotes in two months (shown below).

On May 29th, Twitter^[7] user @shxtou posted, "Don't bully me I'll cum :(," gaining over 59,000 likes and 4,000 retweets in two months. That day, Twitter^[8][9] users @1littlepear and @daikitsune replied to the post with drawings of anime characters wearing the shirt, gaining over 7,400 likes and 15,000 likes respectively in two months (shown below, left and right). As the phrase and shirt photoshop went viral, several online t-shirt printing shops began selling shirts with the phrase on it.^[10][11]

On July 24th, the Facebook^[12] page Our Memes v3 posted an image macro using the phrase, gaining over 2,600 reactions and 870 shares in a week (shown below).
