The clip comes from a YouTube video parodying Caitlyn Jenner's Gender Transition by All Def Digital titled "A Bruce Jenner Parody: Confessions of a Transgender Gangster ft. Teddy Ray," uploaded May 2nd, 2015.

Spread

The clip was posted by @HilariousRoasts^[6] on June 7th, 2015, gaining over 18,000 retweets. On September 19th, 2015, YouTuber Dyson Smith uploaded the clip by itself, gaining 281,000 views (shown below).

A definition of the term "Double Cheeked Up" was posted to Urban Dictionary on November 9th, 2015.^[1] On November 16th, 2015, it was posted to /r/youtubehaiku,^[4] where it gained over 1,200 upvotes.

The video saw an uptick in popularity in May of 2017. On May 16th, 2017, @WSHHFANS uploaded the clip referencing the RompHim that gained over 5,000 retweets and 7,400 likes.^[5] The video was posted to /r/youtubehaiku by TheNaCliest on May 17th, 2017, gaining over 3,000 upvotes.^[2] It was posted again the subreddit on July 4th, 2017, where it gained over 2,500 upvotes.^[3]
